Definitely not what I was expecting when comparing it to the initial trailer, but nowadays you really can't expect games to be anything like the trailers.

The combat is different enough to make you want to play more to just, have a breathe of fresh air from the usual hot trash bethesda puts out. There are only three common enemy types with upgraded versions of them to fight. It could be worse, 100%. But it is definitely disappointing in the long run.
I don't want to give a negative review because the game is polished, so in reality it doesn't deserve one. It is just not what we were really promised initially from the studio.

This is not a bad game at all! The visuals are fun and the weaving techniques are always fun to pull off. I love the two main characters and their bickering is very fun to listen to. This game has so much respect for japanese culture as well and doesn't use it in some silly way. Maybe whatever DLC they decide to release will push a the horror genre here a little bit though. I hope this game does well to warrant a DLC to fix some of those glaring issues.

Evil Within 3 please.... let this be a reminder that bethesda can make eerie horror games with just enough camp.

If the game you know, didn't crash I think it would have been an above average port.
But you know the devs ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up when the game crashes at prerendered cutscenes.
Will change this review in the future if they fix it but as of right now, its a hard no for me.
It makes me sad too cause I was looking forward to streaming this game too. Guess I will go back to my trusty ps2 version.
