I'm baking bread at home, so I was curious about Baking Simulator. I knew that it wouldn't "simulate" anything but probably roughly show the workflow of some things and give me some ways to manage the bakery. So, I was waiting until the price of this game dropped to something where I wouldn't regret a bad purchase.
I thought the tutorial was flawed. Often I thought the game froze when it was just waiting for me to hit a button or click. The delivery process is absolutely unnecessary, and I found it extremely annoying that I wasn't able to put the dough in the bread pan after I accidentally put it on the shaping board.

This game deserves a lot of credit and I hope many will give it a try, especially due to its low price.

You're a psychologist in 1925 and you have three sessions with Adolf Hitler. To give you an idea of where in history you are: 1923 - Beer Hall Putsch, April 1924- Hitler was sentenced to five years in jail, December 1924 - pardoned, July 1925 - publication of Mein Kampf. Around this time, the game takes place. The NSDAP got about 3% in the elections in December 1924 and 1928, and it's still a couple years until Hitler becomes chancellor (January 1933).

Just by playing this game for half an hour, I learned a few new things about Hitler's background (for example, didn't know his mother died of breast cancer and that the family doctor was Jewish), and maybe a rough inside into psychology.
The developer states that he was criticized for making this game, but he brings up a good point in the preface. Hitler is a human and it's dangerous to dehumanize him by calling him a monster. Food for thought: If you could go back in time and you would witness little four-year old Hitler about to drown in a lake, would you save him or not - even if you know what would happen in the 1930/40's?

It's a serious game and you have to take your role as a psychologist serious, but in the end, you can probably try any combination you like. I only played one round and Hitler left the NSDAP, also stopped the publication of Mein Kampf, but in the third session, I may have been a bit too harsh and direct, because things went wrong and he formed the SS. I'll definitely try and see if I can change history :)

I hope the developer continues to work on this. The text needs some polishing (there were a few typos), I'd love to see some more animations (for example, when Hitler gets angry), and, most of all, some more options when it comes to dialogue. Also, during the game, the psychologist gives Hitler some tasks (for example, write a journal), maybe that would be something for the player to review after a session.

Anyways, kudos to Jon! Well done and I hope you can improve the game a little bit :)

Early Access Review
Although it's still EA, I haven't encountered many problems. The only crashes I had so far, were mentioned in the Steam Discussion. Bannerlord offers a significant improvement regarding atmosphere. The towns are "alive", especially the taverns improved a lot. The battles are epic and I enjoy the new features regarding sieges and commanding troops.

I'm looking forward to Bannerlord when it's done, but it's already exciting to follow TaleWorlds on the journey to improve this wonderful game step by step.

I like this game. Huge battles, tanks, airplanes, bicycles, bazookas, grenades, and so much more you can use. It takes a while to enjoy the game, though. The basic equipment sucks but the more you unlock, the better it gets. Of course, you need to play a lot to earn all the coins to unlock things. H&G has a fair salary system. The higher your rank, the higher the pay.

Improvements I'd like to see:
Have infantry as a basic class, even after you decided to join a different career field. I just unlocked the K98, which is a big upgrade from the G43, then decided to joined the Panzer Corps. Now I can't use the rifle anymore because tank guys can't use rifles?! A new basic infantry class costs gold?

I love and hate this game. Still, I strongly recommend this game.

Been following the game for a while until I decided to get it from the HumbleBundle store. It's quite easy to learn and I'm still on my first game, which I started on 'easy'. I keep running the game on 5x speed because 1x is just too slow but necessary when there are desasters.
It's satisfying to see when the town is growing, storages are getting filled, nomads requesting entry and finishing off the first minor problems, like deseases, fires and desasters.
The town keeps growing and growing but you better not start thinking that "it's running smooth" now. I had all my storages full, built a few more markets, settlements and the production was thriving... Then there was a tornado that destroyed half of my center and one of my forest areas (including hunter cabin, gatherer,...). Once I had that fixed there was a fire, which destroyed all buildings I just rebuilt. Never recovered from that and I lost half of my population from starvation because I ran out of tools. The steel tools seem to boost productivity (or last longer) and so every worker was producing really slow. This slowed down tool production and that caused a slow food production which then caused starvation. Since many winters my people are freezing, starving and because I have to trade for food (if the damn merchant actually has food) I get a desease once in a while.

The game is addicting and unforgiving. Turned it off a couple times today but I had to start it again and again just to get slapped in the face.

Ladies and gentlemen, this game is a challenge.

Things I'd love to see:
- Wolves (in addition to desasters)
- Multiplayer (trading and supporting each other)
- Bigger maps

I'm running this game on a Dell Inspiron 15 with a Intel HD 4000. It works alright. Wouldn't win a beauty contest but it's playable.
