If you like crying, then buy this game. In the best possible way. A bittersweet story of love, ambition and loss that will stick in your mind for a long time after playing. The gameplay is simple, the artwork is gorgeous, and if you're anything like me then you'll be left blubbering. As far as I'm concerned, it'd be worth buying just for the story. The fact that it's interactive is just a wonderful bonus.

One of my lifetime favourite games, fullstop. A grabbing story, an immersive world full of characters ranging from psychopathic to absolutely hilarious, some of the best DLC you'll find in a game and the freedom to wander a gorgeous looking post-apocalyptic wasteland for as long as you like make this a total winner in my book. It's the attention to detail that makes it for me - the sheer number of quests, characters, weapons, armors and backgrounds all interlinked together create a world that you can get lost in for hours - no, days or weeks - on end. 10/10.

This is definitely my favourite Tomb Raider game to date - it's classic Lara, with some of the most fiendish puzzles in the series and an awesome storyline to bring it all together. The introduction of linked levels that you can travel back and forth through at your leisure brings a totally new dimension to the game, and although it can start to feel a little long-winded towards the end, it's entirely worth it to be able to see all the gorgeous levels and experience the story. As long as you're prepared for a little frustration when it comes to a few puzzles, this game is Lara's best.

I'm basically in love with this game. An addictive roguelike with a typically dark twist from Edmund McMillen, this game offers simplistic controls mixed with a buttload of items and possibilities. It's one of those difficult games - prepare to have the rug whipped out from under you just when you feel like you're on top of the world, but the rewards of perseverance are so worth it. Travel through the depths of Isaac's basement, face your fears, pursue your murderous mother and if you're lucky, come face to face with death himself.

An amazing, uplifting game - a good combination of simple, inventive mechanics with some really fiendish puzzling thrown in for good measure. Definitely worth buying, it's one of those games you can really get your head into and you'lll feel so satisfied when you finally break through some of the puzzles.

If you like games with lots of reading and story packed in, this is a pretty good pick up with a few different endings to boot. The first kind of game of this type I'd ever played, and I was pretty impressed.

I've never particularly been big on rhythm games, but this one is really unique. It's got some really great dialogue and voice acting, an intriguing story and a very simple and easy to use method of play. There's also a brilliant prize for those of you who stick it out till the very end - plus a good share of secrets and hiddens. Definitely recommended.

I freaking love the Penumbra series, this game is a brilliant survival horror with an awesome story. Requiem is an odd expansion - no combat, but a good little puzzler.

An extremely unforgiving but ultimately cool feeling and worthwhile RPG. I found it pretty addictive. Definitely one of my better liked games.
