good free game. if you like fishing, this is the game for you. scary? not really. not a lot of stuff going on. good to pass time? yeah, decent.

tldr: u fish and there's someone watching u...always.

review:
pretty good game for lots of players. like mario party but better. music is nice, art style is nice. good variety of games which makes the game hyper competitive. be ready to lose friends and realize you have a skill issue.

good things i love about this game:
- has coop, fun to play with friends
- each person has their own loot so there's no fighting over that
- character skills are chill to progress
- THE DRIVING IS SO FUN, 99% the reason i still play this game
- I LOVE HITTING ZOMBIES WITH MY CAR DOOR AAAAAAAAAA my whole life purpose
- zombie finishers are soooo satisfying
- using guns are chill, thank god they highlight what bullets i need for each gun cause i'm braindead half the time
- not an intense game so you can literally chill with friends, chat, etc.

things i don't like about this game:
- while it's coop, there's a tether to the host so you can't roam around alone ever, host calls the shots
- they didn't specify that you needed to upgrade your base to let others in your game use them, has to be level 2 for coop players to use base stuff like the medic, storage, etc.
- loot is unfairly distributed, i walk into a house and everything is for the host while i have one measly box for myself
- how easy it is to get stuck or bugged into objects (there's a button to unstuck tho so nice)
- the beginner controls are so horrible, change them asap

overall, chill game. if you wanna mindlessly kill zombies with friends, this is a good game. the only thing i have an issue with is the tether to the host. i'm a very adventurous player so i wanna be able to roam around. apart from that, i like this game. no pressure to focus on the story mode. in the beginning, it was kinda hard to rope what was going on and how to play the game, gets better after 1-2 hours. very chill.

updated headline: don't get the game. unplayable when the ping/lag/problems get to you. idk when theyre gonna finally update it to stop having all these issues.

like i said, amazing game. i hate zombie games with a burning passion but this one was fun after i got the hang of it. the points system and beginning stages are overwhelming but after watching some yt vids, it's easier to digest. in short, the game itself is fine i have no issues with that.

now on to the dogpoop side of this game. very badly optimized. i have a 3070 ti, lets just say there are no problems regarding my specs at all. couldn't be my PC. it's 100% the game. even on low settings, it runs really badly. the servers are horrible idk what part of asia they're connecting to but it definitely isn't near me. fix the servers. please. my ping randomly messes up even tho my mbps is high but in the game it is so horrible, makes the game UNPLAYABLE. it's so bad that if i click E on a chest, it'll open after dog died, fish died, cat died, mom died, train derailed, plane crashed, building, eviction, graduated college, married husband, start family, die, family tree continues, earth ends. i was standing there stupid waiting for it to open and after about 8 seconds, it finally did.

DON"T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON RIDING A BIKE OR VEHICLE, fps and ping suicide. fps, understandable, lots of rendering going on, but still something to be considered. i literally flew to heaven on my bike while trying to get off of it, i couldn't take the game seriously after that. for some reason, you can't see your own ping if you're hosting a multiplayer server or going solo. i tried making a solo server to see what's my ping like and i couldn't see it to compare. it felt smoother but my friends aren't even that far away from me. we're all in asia. so why is my ping so bad? don't know. please fix.

i really love this game. i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ addicted. i literally have so many hours on it and want to rack up more but it's so unplayable. i genuinely feel like this game could do better and i know it's being managed by a small team, that it has been in early access for a long time, that it has come a long way, i'm rooting for this game. that's why i wanna be honest about these things that really bother me and presumably others. a lot of people online have been complaining about fps/ping problems on this game so i hope this gets fixed soon.

UPDATE: same day of making this review, it wont let me connect to the server, says "server ended the connection to the client" bruv be fr rn man...ENOUGH ISSUES BRO PLS

UPDATE 2: the solution was to completely delete my character and start from scratch.

FORGET ALL THE GOOD STUFF I SAID ABOUT THIS GAME, TOO MANY PROBLEMS ALL MY BACKPACK LOOTS KEEP DISAPPEARING, SO MUCH PING AND LAG. DONT BUY THIS GAME KHALAS UNPLAYABLE go play overwatch 2 instead.

UPDATE 3: game keeps crashing from some "fatal gc" error or something. i'm just gonna keep adding all the issues i keet getting lol. like the game hates me back.
