The storyline: 9 / 10
Classic story about betrayal and revenge, but game was released in 2001, so I can't nag to GTA III. Voice acting is beautiful, characters are cool, but Claude always acts Gordon Freeman.

The gameplay for 100% walkthrough: 8 / 10
Phone missions are substoryline and are interesting, but "Kingdom Come" mission... I died here at least 4 times, but to my opinion this game is the most difficult from all GTA Trilogy and I like hard games, so I say: "Yeah!".
Off-Road and RC-vehicle missions aren't "ass burning", but physics of cars is weird and car can overturn in every unexpected moment (usually in Paramedic mission).
Vehicle missions aren't difficult (except Paramedic): Taxi Driver just boring, but 1,5 hour of patience and it'll be passed, Vigilante and Firefighter are easy, because exist 2 bugs (Escape button for Vigilante and F1 (repeat) button for Firefighter), but don't use them, missions are simple without them. Paramedic mission is the most difficult mission in all GTA III, I failed it 9 times. 5 for overturning, because car is uncontrollable and very easy to "sit on floor" and 4 "booms" from Triads.
Import / Export and Collectibles just "eat" your time, but rewards are important, expecially guns from Hidden Packages.

The atmosphere: 9 / 10
Dark cities and dark colors of all game have special charm. It forced me to dive in gloomy atmosphere of this world. Pass GTA III during rain or thunder caused trembling.

Bugs

• Dark colors of cars, when I hide game and open back.
  
• Problem with cross, when guns shoot in up-right side of cross (I know that it's because of "Widescreen" function in Settings, but I played Steam version without fixes).
  
• Up-down sensitivity never change, except of right-left.

Conclusion
GTA III is very cool game, that allows me to enjoy atmosphere and gameplay. I feel nostalgic notes of my childhood. 9 / 10.
