One of the most memorable and unique games I've played. I feel like I'm personal friends with Lieutenant Kim, and the whole weird and broken world they've create feels more real than most fictional worlds. Having your stats improve the context around dialog instead of just your combat prowess is really cool, and something I hope we'll see more of in other games. Definitely a game anyone who likes story-driven RPGs shouldn't miss.

A cool Star Trek Voyager simulator. If you want a shot at ending up in a new quadrant and exploring strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilizations, and boldly telling redshirts to explore weird time arches, then this is the game for you!

Seriously though, it's great classic star trek fun. Many planets have a little adventure to go on where you make a couple Captian-y choices and see how they turn out. You make friends and enemies, upgrade (and design!) your ship, and sometimes have to blast baddies with your lasers.

What an impressively cool game! It's not just free, it's open source, which you don't see too often. The world and story are way deeper than I was expecting. The game play is simple enough to pick up quickly, but tricky enough to keep you going. Plus, you get to amass a huge fleet, which feels great. The price is right, would recommend!

I mean, it's a Civ with both expansion packs. If you like these games, and you haven't upgraded from V yet, it's time.

What a cool game! The gameplay setup - where you switch between flying your ship and walking around like an old adventure game - is clever, why is this not more of a thing? Having a real character that walks up to a trading window feels a lot more immersive than just having a spreadsheet pop up when your ship docks, like in other similar games.

There's a ton of dialogue and flavor text, an engaging story, and a big map to explore. This is a super fun game, particularly for the price.

Great game. Screaming across space, firing off a broadside as garage rock wails - you can't beat it. Just the right amount of challenge that you usually win battles, but feel awesome doing it.
