I really wanted to like this game, if for nothing else a retro feel, but alas that didn't happen. Controls while simple WASD controls feel ackward and make controling the vehicle difficult. Coudn't get mapped keys on my Steam controller to work either. Loading screens and respawning after "death" take forever as well.

Early Access Review
Great game, sorta like F-Zero except instead of being on a flat 2-dimensionalish track, you are on a round snake like track which you are free to move and rotate around. Sorta think of a monorail which you can move freely around. Unlike a standard racing track which you may slam against a side wall or guardrail, you are able to rotate freely around the track, allowing for a huge amount of racing space. This creates a need for "driving" skill since unlike a traditional raceway there tends to be very little bottlenecking where you can fight aggressively against your opponents.

Instead, you have to focus on maneuvering around the track, dodging slowdown shields and trying to hit every booster you can, in order to get your highest possible speed.

In it's current state, the game is very fun and feels polished, but there are few tracks and ships to choose from, which is to be expected from an early access title. Due to the lack of "content" at this point, the races can become very repetitive. As the game updates however, we should expect to see more added content, adding for a more unique experience each race.

If you are looking for a racer in which you can immerse yourself, and spend hours playing, look elsewhere for the moment. If you are willing to take the slight lack of content built on top of a quality core and give it a test drive, this is a great title to look into.

I personally look forward to keeping up with updates and trying out the new features as the game becomes more immersive with features, and hope others are willing to do the same.

I don't really know where to start on this one. I was expecting a toned down version of the old school game Twisted Metal, but instead what I got was a mobile port of an endless runner, which uses a car instead of a character.

Your options are left and right to dodge, quick brake and attack; no accelerator or brakes, just keep moving.

The games main concept is to speed down a straight road dodging cars all while picking up coins, powerups and weapons; simple enough. As you get further down the road, you will continually pick up speed. The overall feel of the game was a port of an iOS or Android to PC which would have been better off as a Free To Play with micro transactions or a free web based flash game, not a full fledged PC release.

With all this being said, the game does have it's own simple quick game kinda charm, worth playing if you have some time kill. Without looking at the actual specs, I would imagine this game would run fine on most modern laptops with just integrated graphics and a modest amount of RAM, so might be a game for a long car ride or flight? I dunno.

Ok, the game is pretty decent, so I guess it's worth a few minutes to leave a review. The game is pretty simple; move left and right and kill aliens as they enter your yard, and protect you house by killing them before they reach the porch. No limits on ammo, but also not many weapons; musket for longer range, shotgun for more power and closer range kills, and a ray gun which I don't know what is special about it yet.

It's a fun game if you are just looking to kill a little bit of time, but not something you can really get all that engrossed into. Gotta remember though, it is a free to play, therefore if you do spend some money, there are plenty of things you can unlock and make yourself more powerful.

Very fast paced, kill everything in your path and collection the droped items platformer. Highly addictive, like cocaine, but in video game form.

Bought this game at the same time as a couple other AAA games which just went on sale...haven't played the other games and currently have 14 hours on this one.

Might need rehab? 5/5

I'll keep this sweet and to the point...

I played the first level...ok, I tried the first level and realized if nuclear waste was poured on the boardgame mouse trap to give it a more interactive feel, you would have this game. If you were lucky, there would be enough radioactive material left to suicide yourself out of the situation and not have to play.

Bright side though: game was cheap(24¢ on sale) and it gave me steam cards worth more than that, so not a total fail.

I wish there was an option to give a neutral review....

Not the most spirited way to start off reviewing a game, but I figure, no use beating around the bush.

This game is not bad..necessarily; and it's not unoriginal either...again, necessarily. However, the game feels like bonus stage from the SNES days gone wrong, pitting you in a semi-small playing field with baddies as obstacles, where it is your objective to collect coins, gems, and or treasure chests, all while racing against the clock, jumping from platforms and structures in platformer perguatory.

Currently, I have not played through much of the game, but from the 6-7 levels I have completed, they all feel the same in a copy/paste then edit sorta feel. It truly is a different type of platformer, at least to me, but I can't say after several levels I am truly compelled to continue forward. That being said, I have been wrong about games before by judging them too quickly, so I feel like I owe the developers at least a fair playthrough of the full first world before speaking ill of their product.

That being the case, I give my vote to recommend, at least till I give it a full fair shot.

So, I have not played the game much, but from what I have played, seems like a pretty solid game. Feels like F-Zero from back in the old days with a touch of the X=Games sport trick games. Like Tony Hawk/Matt Hoffman games on a jetski. haha

The controls feel pretty solid, especially with using the Xbox wireless controller. Acceleration and breaking just feels more natural having variable pressure triggers.

The game itself seems pretty basic, like most racing games: enter race, the higher you score; the more points/money you get; use money to upgrade your vehicle, etc. You also have the one added element, you have a XP based level, and as you up your level, you earn points to unlock tricks you can do when you hit a ramp. The higher your level and more points you get, the better the tricks.

All around, for the price it's a pretty cool game; not necessarily for playing for hours on end, but awesome if you want something different to play while taking a break from the regular lineup.

Interetsting game, if you are looking to play something for a short period and kill some time. Tends to feel very repettitive if you play it too long. Not as polished feeling as a Tony Hawk game from yesteryear, but still gives you the same sense of fearlessness when nailing that super long combo and deciding at the last second "I can add one more trick".
