The gameplay is specific, different from other fps games. Almost each shot is one shot kill, not if you use a handgun but if you use a rifle and shoot someone in the chest, 99% you will kill him.
This means that tactics and movement really matter along with teamwork.
You can hear bullets fly past you and your vision is blurred, this means someone is shooting you so better not peak or move because he has his sights on you.
Not so much players playing but for sure you will always find some servers full of players.
The atmosphere on the battlefield is realistic as well, with shouting and screams each second almost, depicting reality of warfare. Gore is present as well but it can be turned off.
Each Christmas they also add this special level when the axis and allies had an Christmas truce, you can throw snowballs at each other.
