I bought this game after 7 years of playing Cookie Clicker on and off.
The good thing about Steam release of Cookie Clicker is the easy access to guides, the Steam community, C418 exclusive Steam ver game soundtrack, consistent offline progress tracking (huge problem on browser and definitely if you clear your browser cookies & history), Steam achievements, Steam cloud save files transfer, and the best feature of them all: Hours played ingame to let your friends know how little of life you enjoy.

Downside is that not 100% of the money I spent was sent to support Orteil the game's developer. He practically pioneered the idle game genre we have now. Many of which I have also enjoyed periodically and will be for years to come.

Yes! The game is free online via browser play. It's free on Google Play if you would like to enjoy it on your phone (though that version is a couple updates behind). But Orteil has kept up with this project since its first release online as a little JavaScript test during the days of late flash games golden era. His journey has been long yet he stated on twitter that he still have some more game ideas for Cookie Clicker.

You are welcome to not buy the game and enjoy it free online under Orteil's website domain. But if you do feel generous and want to support his work, maybe consider buying CC on Steam. Join his Patreon or get the merch. And maybe join the Discord to hangout or meet other inspired small game devs. All links can be found via the browser version.

numbers do go up yes very nice

repeatable gameplay with many items, many artifacts, many shooting, lots of looting. Hold down left click and W and don't look back.

many mods awaits beyond monsoon

many blocks, many items, big bosses, you'll die, 1.4 cats

guns, loots, colors, throwing explosive pistol to deal high damage, mods, just dumb sit back fun for everyone playing!
hyped for BL3? they have guns with legs that run.
