An amazing game which still holds up to the test of time.

Great new devs who still support the game. They recently added Windows 10 support that works perfectly for me. I can now play the game in fullscreen, something I couldn't do when originally updating to Win 10.

If you have a Steam Controller, this is the game to use it with. Only downside is that if you want the Steam Controller to work with the game you need to set your desired SM settings under desktop config using Big Picture mode rather than as a config for the game itself. Once you do this the controlls have never felt better!

So far i'm really loving the controller.

It won't outbeat keyboard and mouse for me but on the occasions I want to lay in bed or on the couch this controller is an awesome option to go to.

You can also use it to surf the web in bed (though as of right now you can't use the keyboard feature outside of big picture mode but you can customize whatever normal windows keys to the layout of the controller). The aiming accuracy in FPS games is a little different and harder to get used to right away but I feel once I used it enough in an FPS setting it would be an amazing alternative to mouse and keyboard for FPS aswell. On games where FPS aiming isn't as critical this controller is great right out of the box. Picked up the controller from my local gamestop.

This has to be one of the coolest and most original feeling games I've played in a good long while!

Definitely pick it up if you're wanting a great story driven experience, It's turning out to HIGHLY exceed my expectations of what it was going to be.


Think of any great indie story driven experimental game and then imagine it as not actually being an indie game but rather a high quality AAA feeling game experience made from a profession studio. It's one of those kind of games.

Back when this game first came out I had bought it at full retail price on an Xbox 360 and I ended up hating it after seeing how bland it felt and how repetative it was. I ended up just giving it away to my cousin for his birthday after a few hours of playing.

However many number of years later I just now bought it again for a $5 deal and I really fought to give it a second chance with a more mature mind and a better capable gaming platform. I am now a newly found Assasins Creed fan despite how horrible I viewed the game when it first game out and on console.

Took me a bit of getting used to to understand the potential of the game once I fought through my first impressions and explored what it had to offer. Gameplay kind of seems like a unique style of "travel" instead of the old impression I had of it being a rock climbing simulation. Large sword battles and knife throwing action end up being really fun mixed with a pretty interesting story I now really like the game and finished it a few minutes ago.

If you're like me, try giving it a second chance when a deal hits!

Honestly I wasn't expecting a whole lot when I first started playing but once I started digging around examining stuff the story kind of pulls you in.

The feels..ohh man the feels.

[The caves] Probably had some of the most beautifull pieces of scenery I've walked through in a game environment in a long while. I'd say this game is worth getting (Though I would recommend picking it up at a cheap discounted price) if you are into experimental storytelling type games. My main and really only gripe I had with this game is that you are stuck walking at a very slow pace which sort of diminished my desire/curiosity to explore all areas off of the "main path" without feeling like it was a chore to slowly walk out and back equally as slowly because I'm usually the type to walk around and adire all details put into the environment. Apparently this game also has hidden things for replayability. Also, don't expect this game to be super long. I think my final playthrough was about an hour and a half and that was with some extra time spent walking off the main path.

A VERY fun (and not very known about) puzzle/platformer game where you take direct controll of a neon glowing ball as you roll around in 3D through obstacles and solve puzzles along the way. Completely worth the full price of $4.99, but even more valuable at the current discounted holiday price of only $1.25 right now! Definitely check this one out if you like puzzle platformers. Also doesn't help that the visuals are suprisingly smexy with videos settings on full.

It's a pretty entertaining game if you are extremely bored and such, but all in all I guess I wasn't left TOO impressed after paying $5. It's a point and click puzzle game where in each scene you have to figure out how to deactivate the bomb to save the day/scene, which does have its funny/random moments - but there are also sections where it just feels tedious to progess because of the way the game is setup and/or the logic behind the combination that solves the puzzle is something that feels less anti-climactic that I would have hoped for in a game that seems to shout "absurdity" as its core feature.

TL;DR Seems like a game I would play for free online on some flash website if I stubled upon it, but knowing what I know now I probably wouldn't have paid $5 for it. Even though it was mildly entertaining.

I didn't like it 'AS MUCH' as I liked the first Darkness game; which had a more "real" and gritty atmosphere and artstyle versus this comic book feeling art direction in Darkness 2. But don't let the new art direction discourage you though. This is definitely an amazing sequel or stand-alone game none the less. Some great, memorable moments.
