I have to admit. When I first played this I hated it and wanted to return it.. but knowing how much I loved 2D skyrim I gave it a second chance.

This game requires a bit of tinkering to get it how you want it. First mission was to remove all the horrible blurryness. On the Oculus Rift S the physical objects you pick up in your hands to examine were very jittery so I modded the physics engine to run at 80fps to match the rift refresh rate of 80hz. Now when I pick up objects it is smooth and jittter free. Had to change the super sampling to get it how I wanted it picture wise. I'm just now starting to add extra stuff like 3D binural audio for better immersion so now you can actually hear where sounds and footsteps are coming from.

This game feels more of an afterthought port to VR rather than any significant new additions. The menu system is still the same old menu system however I'm having a lot of fun now that I have it configured to my liking with more mods to come. I typically don't mod games but this VR title it seems almost necessary.

I highly recommend this game if you are willing to put up with modding the game to your liking.
