Listen am the Trumps strongest warrior, i was there when the gamergate happened, i was waiting down the escalator when he came down to announce his run, i was there on january 6th, i was there when they shot at him, i was there when we finally won election and the popular vote. AND I GET IT.
But if anyone is gonna try to tell you that this game is some DEI woke hot garbage akin to dragon age 3, don't trust him - it's probably a saboteur.
It's actually quite the opposite

A game with incredible promise and potential—to recreate Prague’s Metro network as it was (with creative liberties) at the turn of the century. Games made with this level of passion are rare these days, and I believe the developers can deliver!

The gameplay loop is solid: you take control of a train, generate a timetable, and get paid based on performance. You earn money and XP, which you can spend on upgrades for your train or personal inventory items. While this system is currently quite limited, the foundation is there.

The game also introduces quests (e.g., finding a lost mug or activating a device), which reminds me of my favorite game in this genre, Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator. I'm curious to see how the game will evolve beyond faithfully recreating Prague’s Metro network. Perhaps the introduction of optional survival mechanics? Something to spend money on, like in TSRS, The Long Drive, or My Summer Car? Or maybe more engaging, 90s-themed quests?

In terms of simulation, the game leans more toward an arcade-style experience (For now), similar to Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator. If you're a fan of trains, this one is worth keeping an eye on. And if you're a Czech rail enthusiast—what are you waiting for?

This game must be made by someone with passion for strategy games. You can tell by just how fast the ui flows, how well the graphs are graphing but most importantly by how the game combines the cornerstones of strategy games, mechanics like moving units (even citizens, similar to dawn of man), mechanics like fog of war, assigning jobs, leveling skills in those jobs, WALLS - and with that inspirations from more tower defence kinds of strategy. It just mashes these different mechanic you don't usually see working together and it makes them work really well together. Kinda reminds me of "The Dream" for Manor Lord, which also took mechanics don't usually seen together (like city building with "Total war-like" fighting, with 3rd person camera view in addition to classic strategy birds eye view, emphasis on graphic fidelity, etc.).
For me Manor Lord lacks towers and castles, forward scout bases and it leaves many things to be desired in how the information is presented to the gamer, this game absolutely fills that niche for a very comfortable price.

Now the main minus - no workshop no mods. Yeah, don't get me wrong i think developers can do what they want with there time and work but this one really hurts for game standing on such solid foundations mechanics wise. But i've heard dev talking about not including modding to this game because it's his first "big" game and he has no prior knowledge in modding and never modded a game, so i still keep my hopes up that one day we will get there.

On release this is basically Sins of Solar Empire I but better. It is 100% worth it.
Late game lag is gone, engine runs super smooth.

Game too expensive for what it is.
Better buy game "Uboat" if you want to play submarines. Dev of wolfpack is super slow, very unreliable and can't communicate.
I had good fun with it but for this price ($35) i wouldn't buy it. It's value is, after 5 years in EA about $15 to $20 - and you need two friends with the game too.
