Great game focused on fun first, but it has horrible performance issues. I have a good PC and I get constant stutters and freezes.

I have a lot of fun, micro-transactions are a bit too expensive, but overall a good game.

The best game ever made, destroyed by a greedy company that does not understand it. The half-assed attempt to turn TF2 into a e-sport has caused its massive downfall.

The skill-based matchmaker is broken, the balance is horrible. Most of the time, one team wipes the floor with the other and then the server restarts, putting you into a loading screen and a pre-match timer. The auto-balance feature takes around 2 minutes to take effect and they removed the ability to scramble the teams.

You also just get to play at most 3 rounds, before the server has to restart, which causes massive disconnects because it's quicker to just queue for another game. (This was not the case with the old quickplay system, which had a 45 minute map timer).

A lot of mediocre maps get added each year, which just divide the already small player base into multiple half-empty servers.

No gameplay updates for the past 7 years, but they did add tons of micro-transactions, cosmetics that don't even fit the style of the game. Thank God, they at least recently fixed the cheating bots which made the game unplayable during those years, but I don't think we would have had them in the first place if we had the quickplay system.

Oh, and you are forced to pay if you want to talk or call for medic.
