bugs, lack of QoL, coarse gameplay...

...but for some reason it's more addicting than its prequel! It's amazing. It's worth the money. And the developers fix problems regularly. It's fun even if bugs are making the game harder (we revived the same person twice and 2 enemies were staying on one squar, only 1 of them was taking damage)

List of unlocks is massive, the story is really long, and I can't wait to spend another 50 hours trying to at least beat the game once.

Everyone is aware of how this game treats the players, and how it worsened from Overwatch 1. I agree with most of them but nonetheless I want to make an objective review to point out few things. I will start with the strongest arguments.

Cons:
- Paywalls. Everywhere. The worst ones are the ones that lock heroes to play. The OW1 roster (32 heores) is unlocked just by playing games (which is weird but fine), but to get access to new heroes you have to buy them. Currently, there are 6 heroes like that. If you were to start playing now, you would only get Illari for free if you spent time to grind the battle pass. You can't get any other heroes in any other way than paying. THERE ARE NO GAMES THAT DO THIS. There are games that lock heroes, but you can get them for free if you want. Just spend your ingame currency. In Overwatch 2, you can get 60 coins per week. A hero costs 900 (3.5+ months of grind) and a legendary skin costs 1000-1500. If you're determined you can also spend some time grinding Microsoft Rewards that can be redeemed for Overwatch coins.
- Broken promises. When Overwatch 2 was announced, they promised one-time purchase PvE mode with many features (like skill tree upgrades) that are now scrapped. Now we have a time-limited mini-events with $15 missions that you will have to buy one by one :). And honestly, I get a feeling they are using these skills to rebalance heroes, which brings me to another point.
- Weird balance changes. They are doing a lot of changes compared to the first game, which is understandable, because of the new 5v5 format. The thing is, the changes are weird. See Cassidy's grenade. They went from a mini-stun to an autoaim flying thingy which deals huge damage and disables mobility skills. He became hard meta. (They reduced its damage thankfully.) Another example is Widowmaker's scope shot damage scaling with distance. Like???? It's so unintuitive now. No sniper in any game works that way.
- A LOT of time-limited content. I really don't mind battle passes, as long as there are ways to obtain missed skins in the future. I've never wanted to be stuck to one game just to spend time on it every week and every month. There will be seasons I will skip. But what if I want a skin to my main when I can't really play? No skin for me. Other games have ways to obtain those limited items some way, but not Overwatch 2.
- Lack of quality of life. I'm not objective here because I mostly complain about things that got removed from OW1 for whatever reason. I'll skip those which have been readded: No hero gallery filters, no profile level, no highlights menu, unintuitive access to options (you need to press ESC in main menu)
- 5v5. It's very subjective, but I preferred the 6v6 chaos over 5v5 with an overpowered tank. It doesn't work well with deathmatches and maps feel emptier. Most games are 5v5 anyway, I just think the old system was iconic.

Pros:
- Some good ideas were implemented. I'm a big fan of role passives. DPS buff after kill, Support regen out of combat and reduced ult charge for hitting tanks. Every passive makes sense and I complained about tank and support thing back in OW1 days.
- The game is fun. It's a quick paced first person shooter. I'm not a fan of Valorant or CS:GO, Overwatch feels really good with all these mobile heroes and quick combat.
- Good lore, good designs. The game looks pretty, and works very well on decent hardware.
- A lot of new content every now and then. I guess they now have the budget lol. I played for the first few seasons and events they introduced were really fun. Especially since many games nowadays wait really long between events like this. This game has a good tempo.

Sooo yea, that's a lot. I think I forgot something. I really gave this game a special treatment in the past so I'm really sad it became this greedy. I will update this review once I remember something I wanted to say. Thanks for your time.

The game is terribly bugged. There aren't many graphical options, including borderless fullscreen and options. Not to mention, multiplayer is pretty bugged. When I joined my friend's room, we didn't see each other and starting was impossible. I really like the nitro boost feature, never seen it before. Graphics are also pleasing.

I'd like to give neutral review but yeeaaaa...
what
When I saw this for the first time I was like "YAY!!! GCH for RMMV is finnaly out! I'm going to make A LOT of awesome characters like never before!" and then...
Well...
All parts are just same like in RPG Maker MV generator. There in only few differences:
- You can edit parts in-generator.
- You have more color options.
- You have more layering power.
- There's an animation preview.
That's all, I guess?
But hey! You can import own parts! That's the thing i needed all the time! :D
I saw some additional parts in RPG Maker MV Season Pass DLC so you can copy and paste them into generator if you want to get more parts.
Still, no extra parts hurts me.
...but thank you for this awesome app! ^^

EDIT: I am waiting for updates, there is no way of converting multiple images into one part for every character style (Face, Walk, Battler, Damage), so adding own parts is a bit messy for me. In normal GCH there is that option but GCH doesn't support RPG Maker MV (which I personally use) parts like Portfolio Edition.

...So I am just waiting for that update to make my library bigger! :D

That game is better than I thought! After 10 hrs of gameplay, I haven't finished the game on the hard mode.

Pros:
- Magic soundtrack
- Many palletes to unlock
- Many weapons
- Price of the game (2,99€)
- Challanging
Cons:
- Bats :c

// Polish Version

Ta gra jest lepsza niż myślałem! Po 10 godzinach gry nie zdołałem jej przejść na hardzie.

Plusy:
- OST
- Style do odblokowania
- Sporo broni
- Cena (2,99€) (10zł - 15zł)
- Wysoki poziom trudności
Minusy:
- Nietoperze :c

Polish version is also avaible on this rewiew. Just scroll down.

Magicka 2 is awesome continuation of old, good Magicka that we (mostly) know and love. Before update called "Spell Again, Again", the game was bad in many ways. For example there was only few Magicks (spells like revive, haste etc.) and there was no steam and ice elements. That update fixed almost everything. And the poison element has been added!

Pros and cons:
+Possibility of casting spells with 5 elements having a choice of 11 - water, life, shield, cold, lightning, arcane, earth, fire + steam, ice, poison and using them on several ways - front, self, area, on weapon.
+Possility of playing multiplayer with wizards from entire world - up to 4 players.
+Big choice of robes (+ skins), weapons and staffs, that you need to unlock (witch is fun ^^)
+Game modes - Adventure and many challenges
+Gamepad support.
+BEAUTIFUL soundtrack and good graphic.
+Humor on every step. :)

-No PvP mode - this hurts me the most. :c
-Completing adventure mode for the first time takes up to 4 hours.
-Only few Magicks (comparing to the first game, where there was 35 of them).

Summarizing the game is really cool, even if you are playing alone. About DLC - They can be a little too expensive, but if you really want to buy it! :)

Polska wersja recenzjii

Magicka 2 to wspaniała kontynuacja większości nam znajej Magicki. Aktualizacja większość naprawiła, a nawet dodała nowy żywioł: truciznę.

Plusy i minusy:

+Wsparcie kontrolera.
+PIĘKNY soundtrack i dobra grafika.
+Humor na każdym kroku. :)

-Brak PvP - to boli mnie najbardziej :c
