I don't know whether it makes much sense to "review" this 2002 game today, as people will probably play the latest opuses released than this one. I bought it out of nostalgia because back then it was the bomb! Everything that was possible all of a sudden - fly a plane or an helicopter, demolish a building with bombed remote-controlled helicopters, sell drugs, interfere with gang wars - everything done in a superb fashion following the ascension of Toni Montana aka Scarface, for me, it is the best GTA ever made.

I acquired TR because it was free, and I am happy I didn't have to pay for it ^^ - very useful in these bored-af days with the confinement, the storyline is empty as the void, the only thing that surprised me for real is the relative "gore", especially when you get killed, it can be sometimes blunt ^^ 5.5/10

This stuff never gets old - and I must say the new campaigns (The Forgotten among others) are pretty difficult, and require a lot of efforts to complete, giving this eternal game a new life :)

Probably the best reference in killing zombies: multiples modes, dark atmosphere, and intense gameplay, probably my favorite game after Half Life. Would advise to spend a good amount of time campaigning in order to know the maps well, and get used to the pace that awaits you with the skilled players who spend countless hours on it :)
