This game has so much potential. The movement is fluid, gunplay and the tournament mode feels unique and satisfying. I haven't enjoyed a new FPS this much in a long time, but sadly it's not without its downsides. The player count is too low for any kind of SBMM to work meaning you usually end up paired against high ranking players regardless of your skill level. With that and a high amount of cheap feeling one-shot-kill mechanics, it feels as if new players will be put off and this issue is doomed to continue. Sadly none of its marketing pushes seem to give the game the boost it needs, which is a shame as it really is something unique and interesting in a genre that desperately needs it.

Comfiest chat client with a pretty fun fishing game on top :D pretty much every lobby i've joined has been full of chill and friendly people, the art style is cute and it's the perfect game to just relax and meet people. also you can be a cat and spam meow so it's already game of the year.

Very comfy! Art style is adorable, gameplay is simple but interesting enough. More missions would be nice, but for the cheap price I can't complain too much.

If you like metal music, fast-paced FPS, or rhythm games then you'll probably like this. The soundtrack is its main appeal and doesn't disappoint, as I found myself looking forward to each level just to see what the next song would be.

The gameplay itself is very similar to modern Doom games, which I've always found to be decent while not my favourite type of shooter. That said this game fits that role well, the only enemy I didn't enjoy fighting were the shielded ones as it felt disruptive to the flow of the game at times. My only major complaint is the bosses themselves, aside from the final boss they are all the same boss fight with minor variations. While there is a story reason for this, I didn't enjoy the boss much the first time and definitely didn't the following 6 times. The final boss was worth the wait though, and does make up for that a bit.

Overall fun game, soundtrack is a great love letter to the metal genre, I would recommend!

Early Access Review
I'm always looking for unique attempts at rhythm games, and Rhythm Doctor is one that I've been looking forward to for a while after playing a demo last year. The concept starts out simple, you just have to press the spacebar on the 7th beat. This foundation stays in place but quickly gets more complex and interesting with different types of beats, holding notes, and visual effects that are best experienced for yourself. With all these in place the game does become challenging and fun, and thanks to some good charting you're able to stay in time with the song even when the visuals become confusing to follow.

It's worth pointing out that the game is in Early Access, but I still think there's enough content to warrant the price. There's a decent length story campaign that can be finished in a few hours, as well as bonus levels and a full custom song creator, meaning you can download fan-made charts and get even more time out of the game. The story itself was a lot more interesting that I initially expected, complimented with pretty pixel art and a soundtrack that's fitting for the most part.

Overall, I'd recommend this if you're a fan of Rhythm Heaven or similar games. It takes a simple concept and builds on it to create a fun and challenging experience.

This is an indie puzzle/platformer about overcoming fears that boasts a unique visual style and a haunting soundtrack.

Gameplay largely revolves around exploring the world with light puzzle elements based on mechanics that change constantly throughout the game, which makes each area feel new and refreshing. Some of these mechanics were a little frustrating, for example there's a section where you must avoid enemies with your mouse cursor that felt as though the radius for getting caught was a little too wide. Others, such as a shoot-em-up section, were a lot of fun.

My first playthrough took a little under 2 hours to complete and this was without rushing through. However, there are multiple endings and a variety of routes to take in most levels, so with this and finding all the hidden collectibles it'll take more than one run to experience everything the game has to offer.

The game ran fine for the most part and was generally responsive apart from some sections where movement felt a little sluggish. There was also one instance where I accidentally made myself unable to proceed, but this was simply fixed by reloading the level.

Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who is interested in the art style or dark themes this game has to offer. It's not overly challenging and won't provide more than a night of entertainment, but what's there is worth playing.

This port was handled perfectly and feels so good to play on PC, especially with a controller. Gameplay is smooth and I encountered no sync issues and didn't even have to adjust my offset. The base game comes with a lot of songs for the super cheap price tag and the DLC is well worth it too.

Some other features would be cool such as Steam achievements/trading cards and a total score leaderboard, but these are suggestions rather than complaints. Overall, its colourful visuals and addicting gameplay make this quite possibly the best rhythm game on Steam right now.

In a time where games want to push hundreds of DLC's at you, Musynx's offering is a refreshing business model. For just £20 you receive every DLC song they ever have and ever will release, meaning there's a ton of content that keeps growing over time. I highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys the base game.

This is a shoot-em-up game made by the original Guitar Hero studio in which enemies spawn and bullets fire all in time to the background music. It has a very interesting concept that looks and feels as great as you'd expect. The visual style is very appealing and as you'd hope for in a music game, the OST is amazing. As someone who hasn't played bullet hell games, the difficulty felt a little challenging but fair.

Really my only complaint is that there are only 3 levels, and so the game can be finished in about half an hour. There are multiple difficulties to work through and things to unlock, but I still wish there was more of this world to explore and more music to listen to. Regardless of this, I would recommend trying out what is there for yourself.
