Damn, Konami messed up.
The last game in this series i purchased was PES 2009. The series was going downhill round about that time, but jheeze, I just don't know why this entry exists.

The game performs well on my aging E8400 and HD7850 setup, which I applaud, but the gameplay has taken multiple steps backwards from what I remember. It doesnt feel like you have a single iota of control over any of your players, at any time. Pass and shot requests made long ago barely seem to come to fruition due to the long delays. Now I understand in real life that there will be ocassions when getting time to have a decent shot/pass is simply impossible, which is okay to a certain extent, but having almost every action delayed for no reason is unacceptable. This fustration is compounded by the illogical positions PES finds to place your pass.

Now, I can't help but smile when I manage to lead 2-0 up, which feels even better when your playing a broken game, but unless this goes under £5, I don't think the game is enjoyable enough to warrant a purchase.

My steam counter reads around 2 hours but I have been launching the game outside of steam via patches sourced from pes-patch.com, a site that will enable you to transform teams like NORTH LONDON back to Arsenal.
