The theme is doing some really heavy lifting at the moment.
If you like the lovecraftian theme - which is used here with some real passion by the devs - you can loose yourself in this honestly pretty basic colony sim.
Let's hope they will use the feedback during early access to flesh out the gameplay much more while staying true to the theme.

As others said: A great continuation to a great pinball experience.
Super chaotic and fun new mechanics

If you are starting new, this might be the best virtual pinball experience you can get right now.
There are pretty regular sales where you can pick up your favourite tables for a small price.

Most of the negative reviews are from people who were playing the previous games and are mad because they have to buy the tables from there again. If you already own your favourite tables and don't think the new engine makes it worth to buy them again, just stick to FX3.
Otherwise this is a great choice.

I love it.
It can get pretty frustrating in classic mode but this just makes success more rewarding.

A great mix of rogue-lite and farming sim.

Finally I can experience Terraria 1.4 with all the QoL-Mods I came to love from 1.3.

Thanks for this and thank you all mod developers who already ported or are currently porting there mods.

I really like this game. It feels very rewarding to defeat the different kind of bosses and there still is so much more content to explorer...

Edit: More than 20 hrs. later this statement still holds true
