I thought I would try this after seeing the reviews and binged the whole thing in one weekend. The writing is good and the whole experience is surprisingly compelling!

I bought this game after watching Northernlion play it and being frustrated by his misplays. It is simultaneously both simple and deep, with many viable strategies for constructing a deck.

The inability to save scum forces you to play it "properly" and the limited abilities of each character mean that you have to adapt to specific play styles. Since a run is relatively short, don't fear death, it's just part of the experience. Worth playing if you enjoyed the original.

Poorly optimized, unstable and full of bugs... but also probably the best multiplayer game I've ever played
