As someone who is chronically ill and disabled, Two Point Hospital is a bit of escapism and wish fulfillment in this comedic hospital sim. Every patient who enters the hospital in the game has an illness that can be diagnosed AND cured, as long as you get to them in time before their health and/or happiness runs out!

The illnesses are amusing at every level, some more ridiculous than others. The in-game radio station is quite amusing. It is possible to listen to your own music, but since I like to stream 2PH on Twitch (as Karistina) I tend to listen to the default music most of the time. Two Point County's pop star, Jasmine Odyssey, has some entertaining songs that have been added to the music rotation, but I was disappointed once I actually listened to the lyrics of "Nice-Smelling Face." Despite its cheerfully catchy melody, the song is terribly ableist in its mocking of specifically autistic traits. As an autistic person, it's pretty offensive. I wish they could re-record it with alternate lyrics that didn't suggest the subject was a loser whose only redeeming quality is a "nice-smelling face."

But I digress. The DJs on the in-game radio station are quite entertaining, as each is a caricature of various types of radio personalities. They are all played by the same voice actor, and I'm quite the fan! The tannoy messages from the hospital announcer are amusing as well. The game has a wry sense of humor!

I've bought and played through all of the DLCs available to date, both item packs and new levels. I find it all has great replay value, as I enjoy seeing how quickly I can replay the different hospital levels.
