I really love this game, it has great art direction and the world feels interesting and fun to explore

Pros

- the soundtrack is awesome
- graphic style and animations look great and keep, even though in 3D, the anime charm (like dbfz)
- netcode is top notch (rollback netcode)
- good for fighting game beginners, most combo execution is easy in comparison
- still deep enough gameplay mechanics for advanced players to dive into

Cons

- the login servers seem to be overloaded, leading to long loading times because of initial server connections
- getting collectibles through fishing can be frustrating

The lobby can be frustrating at times, but is still a good way to engage players and create the illusion of rivalrys.


Overall I would recommend this game to any fighting game fan as well as newcomers to the genre.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone who loves repetition and routing based games, like Mirrors Edge, SEUM and DOOM.
Even if you enjoyed games like Celeste and Super Meat Boy and want to try an FPS platformer, this is the game for you.
With an awesome synthwave soundtrack, intuitive controls, nice gory fighting and an engaging, while not too original, story and great graphics this has been my favourite platformer of the year.

Love the atmosphere and tension.

This game is deeper than i ever guessed, you have a gigantic Overworld, you have thrilling fights, a really great character development, a huuuuge mass of items and you can evolve your own playstyle.
But whats the best thing about this game is this really nice feeling when you killed a boss you battled now for 2 hours or more.
Dark Souls has the ability to raise every enemy boss to a nemesis you fight over and over again.
