Like, 5 hours on Steam, but on my PS4 I have more than 2400 hours of ACTIVE game time.
The game's good. With it adding a f2p model, it gives you a chance (and a big one at that) to test the game without spending a dime. I've been told that it's not great at orienting new players, so your best bet is looking for a NEW guide on YouTube (because there's tons of old, outdated ones). I recommend starting doing the Red War campaign before anything else (unless you wanna jump right in with your friends). It will give you a nice overview of the game.

-Tons of things to do, even for a New Light player
-Great cast of VAs
-Mindless fun

Some things to take into account:
- This game has a FOMO problem, so you'll need a lot of free time (or godly time management skills) to experience everything and be up to date. This game will be your new hobby (or your new job, but don't let this happen).
- IMO, the Eververse store (micro-transactions) is kinda expensive for what they offer (and hasn't had any sales since last year), so only spend if you really want something you really want and that you know you will use. The free currency is kinda tough to grind.
- You will have A LOT MORE FUN if you aren't playing solo. Yes there's a lot of activities you can do alone, but the most fun things to do in this game are the raids, dungeon and secret time trials, which require a fireteam to complete (you can do the dungeons and time trials alone, but they are hard and require a lot of knowledge and experience with the game). If you are a STRICTLY solo player, don't even bother buying any of the expansions. Pull up your pants and have the courage of seeking a fireteam to do some of the activities. The Destiny community is very friendly and there's a lot of people (aka Sherpas) who can guide you through the most challenging activities.
-I can't pet the animals on this game, and I can't also sit back with the wolves back on Felwinter Peak (since it's a D1 location). 0/10 trash game
