You attempt to use your rocket car (with some futility) to hit the ball more accurately and more often than the other team. Instead you whiff constantly and after several hundred hours still have no idea how you're at the rank you've somehow managed to reach.



Update (1,250 hours at review time):

It blows my mind when I see people this that haven't already sunk over 1,000 hours into it. The strange thing is the more I play it the more I enjoy it. The skill ceiling is insanely high and the community has added tons of workshop stuff to make it more interesting too.

I never mentioned it in the first review, but this game has changed so much over the years, and it continues to change constantly. The core gameplay mechanics remain the same, but Psyonix has done a good job of keeping the game interesting. Hopefully Epic doesn't beat it to death.
