Yeah I saw the Origin sale but then I'd be stuck having to use it only through Origin and I have the rest of the game the base and all the other expansions on Steam, which I still then registered to Origin too as a backup, so I'll just wait for a Steam sale. I might just bite the bullet though if IP doesn't go much cheaper. Sims stuff rarely goes on sale here.

I haven't gotten IP yet, no. I kind of hoping for a better discount if it goes on a daily or flash but since it's so new it may not get much of a discount even then.

Definitely wait and see if Sims goes on a daily or flash daily. For most of the big sales it usually has.

There's a ton of Sims 3 expansions so some are more useful or interesting than others depending on how you like to play. I like Ambitions, Showtime and Generations probably the best. You can safely skip the Stuff Packs unless you absolutely must have everything since they don't add any new gameplay elements, just items, and you can already find tons of free modder made items from sites like modthesims etc.

Yeah, I'm not sure why I didn't use the same name on SG, but enjoy the game, my favorite on Steam.
