Maybe it will become better later with updates, but I don't think it's worth the time at the moment (v1.0), even for free.

I tried to do the first mission solo, having to carry a canister. Dropped it on a rotating bridge to fight some enemies. Turned around and saw the canister floating in the middle of the air, with nothing supporting it and out of reach.
Also I find the current audio really annoying. Door beeps and weapon fire before the canister incident was already making me want to quit.

Until this is updated, I recommend sticking to Killing Floor 2, Deep Rock Galactic or Alien Swarm for your co-op fix.

I played until I unlocked the tornado and was disappointed you have no control over it. What could have been sim city levels of fun destruction is instead summoning a tornado from a fixed point, Chasing it as it follows the road (which makes it feel like a destructive car, not a tornado) and trying to lure enemies into it, but it is easier to just kill enemies yourself instead of doing this.

The tornado was the selling point of the game for me, but it is not fun. Everything else was done better in the previous games, so play Just Cause 2 or 3 instead.

Side note: The tornado did cross a river which seemed cool, but then it just followed the road on the other side.

Great concept let down by poor and repetitive level design. Also there is a heavy luck factor in scoring, which encourages you to blindy shoot and bounce off as many walls before sinking the ball. If you miss your score is halved making retries of randomly aiming necessary. All the targets I saw were static, unlike Burnout which had moving targets making you feel skillful when timing and causing a collision.

I played until I unlocked an Australia level/course and it was a gas station with a USPS mail box. What could have been an interesting game of skill and level exploration is reduced to small rooms of luck based trial and error.

The game plays less like Saints Row and more like Infamous/Prototype. The plot is not as random as the third game, but still keeps the epic gameplay moments from it. It does make reference to characters and events from past games, but does give a short explanation as to who they are and why they are important so you don't have to have played them.

I recommend this if you like superhero open world games like Infamous or Prototype,

Killing floor is a great co-op survival game, where yo fight waves of enemies as one of six classes. There is persistant leveling giving advantages such as faster reload speed, more damage, cheaper weapons etc. The leveling helps give you something to aim for but doesn't take away from the difficulty of the game, as team work is the most important part if you want to survive.
Also the Christmas event is the best when it comes to enemy variety. Don't eat me!
