@Clover ☘ my monitor's refresh rate is 60… I'm not sure if I can cap my FPS to 57, rip? :D I don't even have G-sync on my monitor, it's actually a TV

with vsync (fast) the frames wont cap themselves, set a in game cap 3 fps below your monitors refresh rate, for me 240Hz ( Cap 237 ) prevents the frame spikes to not go above the refresh rate and cause tearing. (thats that normal vsync does, caps slightly below Hz ). check out BlurBusters for more info on the best latency and performance adjustments on any system, great website / forums

In your latest post, try vsync fast, its introduced a triple buffer to the sync and eliminates the latency you would get with normal vsync with the pros of vsync :) I use gsync ( vvr monitor) with vsync fast in nvidia control panel and works wonders in fixing that jittery frames cs2 produces. try it out its just my settings i recommend :)

Just now I went to click on install CS2 from library, it's asking for 40.74GB. So yeah, the result hasn't changed. :( 121GB? That's unusually huge size. Well then, I guess CS2 really does take up 40 GB already… I just don't know because I still have old CS:GO installed, with all .vpk's extracted, and it takes 121 GB on my drive… :D You probably shouldn't bother with trying it again though since it didn't work the first time

Thank you for taking the time to reply. That's exactly what I did. After uninstalling the game from Library, I went to that exact folder you mentioned and deleted that exact folder. However after reinstalling the game, the result didn't change. I appreciate your time. I'm going to try again, just for the sake of it.

@2keyS maybe it didn't actually completely uninstall CS:GO?… Try uninstalling again and deleting Counter-Strike: Global Offensive folder completely from (Steam installation folder)\steamapps\common\ and then installing the game back again
