I am having a wonderful time with the campaign in this game. The story is fun and compelling. The soundtrack is top notch and the best one I have heard in years. The combat is complex enough that I am still learning new strategies 50 hours in. I can already see replay value in both the campaign mode and the career mode. The only area I have not tread so far is multiplayer, so no comment on that particular front.

All in all the only real issue I had with this title is the lack of tutorials. Turn based strategy of this nature is not a genre I frequent often, so I did have to spend a little bit of time online learning about some of the finer nuances. All my exposure to BattleTech had been of the simulation variety, until now.

I look forward to future content and titles. For those big into BT, keep in mind that this is set well before the Clan Invasion. So the tech you have access to is going to be a bit limited. LosTech is rare.
