A lot of people are overlooking one important fact...

It's Early Access, it's not a finished or fleshed out product. Kunos have a good track record, they've always delivered in the past. I have no doubt that they'll do it again, hence purchasing now.

Foundation wise, it's actually more built than I was expecting physics are decent, sound design for some vehicles is better than others, visually more than acceptable.

Kunos aren't going anywhere, this won't be abandonded like some studios do.

This is going to be amazing...

...Just not any time soon, at the minute there's some great groundwork laid for what could become the new go to skateboarding game, contents light for what you pay (one single map) but thanks to the guys at the SXL Modding Discord there's a wealth of content (maps/clothing mods etc)
Jump in now if you want to be part of the ride if you're patient enough

Been playing since v1.06.05 (January) I've bought and backed numerous games in predevelopment/alpha stages, but have never came across one that ever lives up to the promises, the amount of work Mash (creator) puts into this is unreal, constant updates, communication with the community, live streams to show what's new etc.
Game play itself with a control scheme akin to EA's skate, and some greatly implemented physics this is literally the best BMX experienece currently on the market even at this early stage, well beating competitors that have been in development a lot longer. There is a small tutorial and playground area for you to ease yourself in, but the experience itself follows the half pipe as per its namesake (there's also other ramps/rail etc) you'll spend hours riding, learning tricks and trying to get that one line perfected.

Take the game for what it is, a budget title created by a single indie developer. No it's not going to win any awards for graphical fidelity, yes there are going to be some physics bugs. Given the low price of the game I think these factors can be overlooked especially when you consider how fun the game can actually be, as another reviewer has pointed out it has that "one more go" mentality, you can attempt a short amount of time with the game, dive in and do a few runs quickly before you realise an hour has gone past.
The tracks themself have a good "flow" to them, providing you hit the right landings etc it's as if your line is an extension of one motion, hit them wrong and it's pretty unforgiving, there's lots of possibilities and replayability in just getting that "line" right on each trail.
I think the game complements the Trials series pretty well and its apparent that it provided some inspiration for the title, it's not as polished nor is there as much content but for the price again that can be forgiven.
I have no hesitation in recommending the game providing you purchase it with the right attitude, it's definitely far from a AAA title but as a fun time distraction it serves up quite well.
Looking forward to see what the developer brings to the table in the future.

Chances are you've played the original Killing Floor (who hasn't) so if you're like me and were wanting a "refresh" based around the same style gameplay mechanics then you're in luck. Obviously at the moment the game is in EA (something I've been bitten by numerous times since Valve thought it was a good idea) and I'd vouched never to touch such a title again, but for this I've made the exception. Tripwire interactive are a great studio, they listen to the fans and always provide a great product (see KF/Red Orchestra/Rising Storm) so I'm more than confident that they will do as promised and take this title to the level it deserves.
At the time of writing my playtime shows just over an hour, which in reality it's more than 10 (not sure what's going on there) I've had the chance to play with a decent group of people (KF vets) which made it nice to step back into things and also played solo. I must say that on my limited time the game is a much improved version of what we know and love. Played on maximum settings (1920x1080 due to not having a higher resolution monitor) the game looks fantastic as a product of Unreal Engine, the sounds are as you would expect gritty with a dark tone to them, there's a satisfying kick to all the current weapons both melee and firearms.
One thing I would like to mention to potential buyers of the game (especially those that haven't played the original) is that the game isn't Call of Duty (not saying COD is a bad product, I quite enjoy the series. but's lets be honest it's aimed to be accessible), it punishes the player for mistakes especially at the higher difficulties reload at the wrong time DEAD, use the wrong tactic against boss DEAD. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the boss and some of the Zeds even going as far as to ask for them to be patched to a lower difficulty, so be prepared for a bit of a learning curve, keep at it though.
You'll also find that KF has a great community (more based on the original at this point) players are often happy to assist newcomers and are generally a decent bunch. Stick with the game, be prepared to die a few times and you'll come out the other side with one of the best multiplayer games that PC has to offer.

TLDR: Would I recommend this product? YES and honestly that goes for anything Tripwire put out in the future.

Mediocre visuals, recycled lines from the TV series.
