After finishing Chapter 4, I think it's pretty safe to say that Deltarune is shaping up to be at least as good if not better than Undertale. It takes the "pacifist as an option RPG" idea from Undertale and turns it on its head without becoming formulaic. Toby Fox's writing, music, and attention to detail continue to be excellent.

I would recommend playing through Undertale first for context going into Deltarune, but honestly it's still fantastic without.

I have massively underestimated how utterly addicting this game was gonna be. Just a pure, concentrated, dopamine generator, get it away from me. Just one more run, though.

A short, fun game with funny characters, a charming artstyle and jazzy chiptunes. The challenges you unlock as you progress keep things fresh, but it's fairly short compared to other roguelikes. Definitely still fun to hop into every once in a while.

Decently competent PS2-era platformer with a great story and hilarious writing that tackles topics like mental health and trauma. You can get it for dirt cheap when it goes on sale, too.

Hey, you. Yes, you! Stop reading the reviews and go play Undertale! Trust me, the less you know going into it the better.

Bought this to play with friends but online play just isn't functional. Requiring to install and run Ubisoft Connect just adds another needless layer of frustration to what should be a simple game, and my friends kept getting kicked from our lobbies no matter who was hosting.

This game has heavily influenced my taste in women.

Pure comedy gold for the low price of free.
