First off, Hades is "Slightly Hard" on standard difficulty. However there are options immediately availible from the start to allow to enjoy and progress in the game, despite any limiting factors, or if you just want to enjoy the story (which is from my experience so far has been a key part of why ive enjoyed it so far). This immediately open this experience up to more folks, and this level of accessibly (without underminding the player or making them feel bad for choosing said options) should be appauled and encouraged from more studios.
Graphically, the game achieves the important balance in combat sections of making the action look gorgeous, while also avoiding overdoing it and mudd-ing whats going on. Outside of combat, the Views from the start of areas when you overlook the areas are beautiful to behold and the "Guest" in the 2nd area is wonderful to sit & listen to their muses and songs.
On music & VO, the music works well for each area, and provides a good way of seperating the rooms. from just the music alone, you can tell whether you're able to take your time and peruse the shop or fountains, or if you immediately need to dodge out of the way of an incoming Harpy or Hydra :P
VO actors have obviously been picked carefully and all the lines are delivered in such a way where you would believe they were a bunch of dysfunctional family of Gods, all Engaging with Zag as best as they can, rooting them on (or occasionly scolding/ expressing annoyance at being overlooked when you're offered them or another of their kin). The Cast across the board are wonderful, and again play an important part of the story and game.
Overall, i think Hades is a great pick, and offers a good amount of replay-ability. It also works a lot better than a lot of other games in its genre and would easily be a contender for a GOTY award.
