Fun game for a little while, until:

"You have been logged out. Please log in again."

Are you kidding me? Besides the fact that Steam authentication doesn't provide you with login information, there isn't even a log-in option on the launcher, so if you encounter a bug like this, there is no way to remedy it yourself. Reinstalling, verifying integrity, nothing works. Have fun Googling and contacting customer support, I guess.

TL;DR: What used to be the pinnacle of class-based shooters has flipped to a CS:GO model of skins and matchmaking with bots at every corner. As such, I cannot recommend this to new players, unless you've got a lot of patience.

This game used to be one of the best competitive shooters on the market. Now, thanks to Valve's attempts to make it more like CS:GO, it has fallen from grace. The most common item drop you get is cases for skins which require paid keys to open, unlike the days prior to the game being free where cosmetics were included in random item drops. Crates have always been a thing, but there were still ways to actually get cosmetics that didn't involve money.

Aside from that, matchmaking has turned into bot hell. Every casual server is marred by at least two bots per team, spamming loud, terrible music in VC and aimbotting. 80% of the time everyone's asking the other team to kick their bots, which doesn't work because the bots spoof the usernames of other players on the server, getting legit players kicked for cheating. I honestly cannot fathom how the game got to this state, and while I have been getting back into it lately and just dealing with the shortcomings, it still seems very absurd that Valve hasn't been able to deal with this.

This game is basically the Skyrim Legendary Edition but better in most ways. The most notable of which is the improved graphics, but another huge improvement is the switch to a 64-bit platform from 32-bit. It performs WAY better than the original Skyrim for me (with a Ryzen 1600, GTX 1060, and 8GB RAM), as I have not gotten a single dip below 60fps, whereas on the original I had obscene dips into the 40s around the Falkreath area. I still had the issues on Oldrim after installing the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, but so far I've had no problems on Special Edition without the patch (though it would probably be a good idea to install the patch for the myriad of bugfixes it provides). All in all, I would definitely recommend the Special Edition to anybody who played the original but wants an excuse to replay the game. It's much more stable and visually appealing than the original.

I enjoy this game for the most part, except for the fact that the ammo placement in the Shermans is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Having any more than 5 shells will cause you to explode from any shell hitting any part of your armor, but that's besides the point. Though there are some balancing issues according to some of my friends who play in higher BR (I havent done enough grinding to reach 4.0 BR or higher), in 3.0-3.5 there doesn't seem to be a huge problem, except for KV-1s and KV-2s which are so ridiculous that they can't even breach the armor of another KV-1 or 2. Air battles are my favorite part of the game. This game's air combat is so much better than any others that I've played. World of Warplanes isn't even within spitting distance of this game's air combat. Though I would have to recommend NOT using Ju-87s if you're going down the German air line as they are easily destroyed if anything with more than one 7.7mm gun gets behind them. Their rear turret is legitimately useless.

Not many older games (pre-2005) that I've played seemed captivating enough to go back to and play more. But the Rollercoaster Tycoon series is an exception (except for RCT4 and RCT World, those dont count), specifically 1 and 2. Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 are very similar. In fact, they have pretty much the exact same graphics and the only thing that differentiates the two is the added rides/scenery/other content that RCT2 has over RCT1. The first two RCT games are timeless. If you play the game once and enjoy it, I can almost guarantee that you will enjoy it the next time you play. There are some people that don't enjoy it, (some of my friends IRL, for example) but usually that is because of judgement based on graphics/age or just a dislike of the management genre. If lacking high-quality graphics or being in the management genre are turn-offs for you, I'd still recommend playing this game at least once in your lifetime. Many people actually consider it a crime to NOT play this game at least once. To be perfectly honest, my best gaming memories come from two games: Pokemon Crystal and Rollercoater Tycoon 1. Whether you are dusting this game off after a long time without playing, or if you've never played this game before, it is a genuinely great game that should be in everybody's Steam library.

I enjoyed my time playing Lethal League, especially the local multiplayer. I'd reccommend it to anyone who enjoys competitive local multiplayer (Ex: worms, leiro, etc). My only problem with the game is its fps. When I first got the game, it ran amazingly well on my horrible PC, at a constant 60 fps. No hiccups or anything. But after leaving it to gather dust in my library for a few months, I decided I wanted to go back to it. But I booted up the game and, no matter what graphics settings it was set to, the game only ran at a maximum of 25 fps. Other than that, the game is great. By the way, if you happen to have a fix for the fps problem, it'd be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: fps problem is completely fixed now for some reason.
