Deep RTS gameplay and addicting, say goodbye to hours of your life

As someone who loved Payday 2 and got so many hours of joy out of it, PD3 is a sorry successor. A publicly rough launch followed by weeks of silence on critical issues, combined with a lousy progression system make this not a recommendation right now. There's a great game here and I think that in a year or two, this game can be a worthy follow up to Payday 2. But for now, I can't recommend it and I would suggest saving your hard earned money.

A great game that was robbed from its chance at stardom by EA. The fact that Fortnite and Apex Legends, which is essentially a stripped down version of Titanfall 2 went on to garner success while this game languished is nothing short of a video game tragedy.

First Total War game I've played, based on a time period that I love, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is fun. Also steam summer sale.

Here I am in 2019 review bombing a game I loved, Metro 2033, Redux which improved on a number of issues of said game I loved, because Deep Silver decided to pull Exodus from Steam to put on a bare-bones store at best with a few hours notice. How much money changed hands to make that happen?

Last game I torrented was Sim City 3000 back in the day, guess I'll be firing up uTorrent here in a few weeks.

In short: The game is painfully medicore and suffers from a wide variety of minor issues and just stupid game design flaws. This is a budget title trying to sell for a near triple A price, and is worth maybe $10-15 tops. Skip this title until it gets some patches, content updates or hell, don't get it at all and find something better to sink your hard earned cash into.
