what is this :(

I have about 100hrs in the game before it came to Steam. Do not play this game, updates come slow, it's not an MMO and even over a year after release it's riddled with bugs. The only two things you do in Palia are skip through awful dialog and grind boring professions.

Fishing is alright, but that's difficult to mess up.

Don't waste your time on Palia!!

The post-game stats on this game truly make the experience. It's a fantastic game to play with friends and will be sure to be a hit with the whole family!

ignore the mixed reviews and play this game. it's like runescape if it was actually fun and not just a mega grindfest

My only negatives:

As most other reviews have pointed out, this game is conceptually a fusion between Pikmin and Factorio, and it manages to hit both games' strongpoints brilliantly. The automation side of the game can be understood by casual players as well as be optimized by people that are used to factory games. The concept is really cute and the difficulty curve is smooth as butter. For an early access game this is already worth the full price, so don't let that put you off. The devs describe the current content as 15-20hrs of gameplay, and I agree, it's 15-20hrs of engaging gameplay

Oh, and the multiplayer works flawlessly 👍👍👍

I've been playing rusty's retirement for 2 days now. It sits on my 2nd monitor, and when I have a break in my work, or I die in a game and have 20 seconds to kill, rusty's is there ready for me - replanting crops takes a few seconds at most, and the rest of the time you can fill up with making new little buildings or upgrading robots, placing decorations etc..

It's the perfect idle game - the timings for user action have been perfectly balanced with the gameplay running itself, and the artstyle and animations are so cute. Love this game 💖

if your friend in multiplayer crashes, and you exit to re-host the game, barony will no longer allow them to connect to the save. Appalling!
