No regeneration, you can really only take 9 hits ever, dying only means you have to redo the level, upgrades are meaningless, bosses have too long of an invincibility after hits, no health meter, no counters, player ship artwork doesn't match any other part of the game, too many useless duplicate achievements, ...; but I suppose you really get what you pay for
