Half-Life: Alyx is an awesome introduction to VR experiences. You might find it slower-paced than the previous games, but I don't mind since this is a flagship title for VR and it also makes sense since there wasn't a lot happening in City 17 after the seven-hour war and before Gordon's arrival.

It's nice to see Source 2 at its full potential while exploring the endless possibilities within virtual reality. It makes you solve puzzles, shoot combines and blast creatures and monsters from the HL universe. Valve knew what immersion is, and played with it specially on making you uncomfortable on dark places and claustrophobic situations through gameplay mechanics I never thought possible before VR.

The best feature in the game are definitely the gravity gloves, an excellent gameplay mechanic that makes the game incredibly enjoyable while making the mechanic completely diegetic to the franchise. It teaches developers to play with the rules of your universe, and build life-changing QoL systems around them to enhance the player's gaming experience by a long shot.

Can't wait to see what we'll end up with for the next Half-Life installment.
