Easily the best shooter of this current decade, with by far the best mechanics, graphics and gameplay loop.
the way it does weapon handling, physics and animations so perfectly while still having the funny jank of being sometimes flung into the air is incredible.

After nearly 900 hours, i would recommend the game if you only ever play the lowest BR
anything past 6.0 is just a slog grind;
-the repairing costs are through the roof and they just recently reduced the reward multiplier that nearly always goes to those repairing costs.
-the research cost goes up exponentially, with the top BR vehicles requiring you to ace about 50 battles if you're lucky, but can goes as high as a few hundred ones.

i'm gonna be honest, i only played 10 hours because of multiple things:
-mining is underwhelming, you quickly get a bot that does the mining for you.

-difficulties aren't customizable: you can't choose to have to eat in order to survive but only have 10% or so pixels lost instead of the 30% lost, wich is incredibly frustrating and cannot recover theses pixels after death, in a game where death comes unpredictably fast.

-weapons are incredibly underwhelming, it's a crying shame you can't have any level of customization with them other than leveling them up, even for modders, the stats aren't fixed and are dependent on a hardcoded, idiotic stats system, so you cannot even mod that problem away.

-the ai is utterly retarded, putting a campfire within a city then taking it back is enough to make them want to kill you, then completely forget a few meters after.

-the crafting system is quite weird, the involvement of pixel in everyone of them feels out of place, i didn't mind the crating time but i guess i didn't go far enough to see the times skyrocket or something

i will try to play another hour or more but i don't give it much of a chance to please me

So i was playing this game after a review a few years ago and decided to play it
and holy ♥♥♥♥ does it hook me in, i was checking how much time i spent on it for the first time and it was 77 hours
i'm not even in what could be considered midgame.

The number of quests are huge and the time they take on top of how they restrain your time to complete it make the investment stay much longer than they have any right to be i love them

The customization choices and tactics are great and if 1C decides to make a sequel/remastered version it wouldn't be hard to fix the robots' ai, combat mechanics and enjoyment factor, they could even let some ship modules allow for extra robot parts or extra damage stats to get someinvestment in that department and redeem itself

played because tiers, megabots, actual class system as you had one type of weapon max, on top of them dealing actual damage that had real consequences
now regeneration is a thing, repair beams are weak, guns are weaker in general, they do the same-ish dps and lost their charm
i can't say more than "guys, you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and the playerbase is at an all time low, it's basically dead now, just publish the earlier versions of robocraft as optional and you'll get some of the original playerbase, it's all you have left"

A very good game.
I could play Conquer mode hours during with some mods as the Conquer mode without mods is extremly difficult even in Easy.
Really, the other factions can form an alliance, sabotage my constructions when they are being constructed, many powerful things I can't do, furthermore, they can construct multiple ships in one timeline, they never repair themselves, after a combat with an enemy, they keep all their ships when they win, wether they face a more powerful enemy.

Out of all this the graphics are very good and I like the fact I can see the troops moving in the ship,
It would be cool optimizing the game's performance and rise the grenade's post rate of fire as throwing a grenade is far siplier than shooting with a cannon.

>feels a freezy sensation, some kind of unease, see framerate
>48 fps
>see graphics, set them on fast
>already on fastest

>mfw the optimal is 4gig but even 24 gigs aren't enough for some 60fps

roughly 4/10, why? because at least there's the hawkeye company so I add 2 pts.
