Phenomenal potential - lush looking graphics - good, solid gameplay - interesting skill curve that differs greatly from the standard FPS game. On this I can't lavish enough praise (and to my mind, seems to be a perfect fit for VR - I can dream)

Then they go and spoil it all by making the game Peer-to-peer, worse still when the host quit all connected players get booted.

WTAF Devs!? So, P2P gameplay with no host migration. So what actually happens is you get a good TDM game going, then a few minutes in the host gets shot, can't be bothered waiting for the round to end so quits...

This game needs DEDICATED SERVERS to survive the madness of having rage kiddies wreck any decent matches.

Sort it out.

Refunded til they get this sorted - as it's a massive deal breaker.

If you're a fan of the retro-style of shooter (Doom, Wolfenstein, et al) you're going to love this! This game takes that old style and runs with it - puts you inside the "Compound" using the newest of VR tech whilst still staying true to the original 'feel' of those older FPS shooters. The aiming is spot on, the feel of the weapons is awesome and the ramp up in difficulty means you won't be finishing this on the hardest difficulty quickly.

Skin crawlingly good atmosphere generated in a very slow tension-building game. Best played on Halloween when the ghosts actually come out of the screen! (The previous sentence may be a small exaggeration)

Fantastic game - already ploughed 38 hours in to this between my desktop PC and my Steam Deck in the last week! Nice, simple combat system (or, if you choose, you can make it as complex as you like!). Easy crafting system, nice map to explore, straight forward missions with some interesting boss fights and it has me hooked!

Levelling 2 separate characters to allow for one to be used solo and the other to co-op with a friend, which has worked flawlessly up to yet.

Bought in the sale for £10 - but easily worth the £19.99 when not on sale.

Not tried the DLC, but most likely will once I've finished the main story campaign.

Just buy this. If you have any love for survival games, attention to detail and just being amazed at how a new development company can totally outshine most of the 'big boys'; get this. You can thank me later.

Took out a raft, got scared to death by some kinda sea serpent in the distance, so I'm currently holed up in my base, sucking my thumb, too scared to go out.

Fantastically fun 'wave shooter' that doesn't feel like a 'wave shooter'... Barely unlocked anything but feels like these guys have gotten the difficulty level just right. Reminds me of what Killing Floor for VR 'should' be like - bullet time, perks, weapon unlocks, variety of zombies, boss fights (and the boss fights are tough!) - it's all in there!

Ammo management and weapon choices will dictate if you're successful on each boss fight and each one has an 'enrage timer' (see WoW bosses for what that is).

All in all - thoroughly recommend this game.

Set up a server, played with friends. Loving it. LOVING IT.

Easily one of the best £15 I've spent in a very, very long time.

The developers are working with the community to fine-tune what is, already, an amazing product.

An experience I had leaving my Capital Vessel in orbit whilst taking my Small Vessel down to Vulca's planet surface; busily flying across the landscape, 67 mins left of fuel when flying passed an enemy POI I took a pulse laser up the backside. No worries, I thought - until my ship came tumbling down in to some murky green water - they hit my fuel tank and destroyed it. The next 90 mins was spent fighting creatures on the planet surface, attacking an abandoned mine and finally (finally!) finding some fuel to place back in my remaining (empty) fuel tank to get back in orbit to my Capital Vessel and get myself off this stinking rock and back to my base on Akua for a well earned rest.

Bounding merrily back to my SV only to see, with horror, a rocket drone hovering above it blasting it to pieces!! Several sniper shots later, the drone is down and I'm surveying the holes it's put in the hardened steel hull - thankfully the damage was only slight and the SV was still flyable. Queue me loading with fuel and getting off the surface, with a smile in my heart and a story to tell.

This game. I freakin' love it.

Look at my hours played. 'Nuf said....

... But screw it! I'm gonna say more! Love this game! Love the yearly events, additional maps, community additions, dev interest in the community, the list goes on.

An aging graphics engine that is utterly suited to the task - this game doesn't require insane graphics, the game is just plain fun. Easily my favourite co-op game of all time.

Very much looking forward to KF2.
