Ingredients:
Dried flour noodles
Fermented cabbage
Carrot
Crushed soybeans, wrapped tightly in separate banana leaf
Peanuts
Spicy peppers
Limes
Cilantro
Green onions
Egg
Instructions:
Once you set up camp, add noodles to boiling water.
Add chopped carrots and cabbage to boiling water.
Add the crushed soybeans. Don’t worry if they’ve turned into a black paste! That’s intentional and the secret to the flavor!
Let boil for 6 minutes.
Add spicy peppers. Your call on how much you can handle!
Cover and boil, stirring until noodles are puffy.
When noodles are almost done, spoon in crushed peanuts for that extra crunch!
When the broth has an even, creamy consistency, remove and pour into the bowl.
Mix in lime juice to taste.
Garnish with chopped green onions and soft boiled egg!
Delicious!
