The banner with the emoji literally stopped me from buying this. My friend showed me gameplay and it sold me. Change your banner, it's actively hurting your sales.

A really cool offline multiplayer puzzle game that requires 2 copies and different devices to run it. The game creatively uses game states to synchronize progress across both players and encourages dialogue between them to solve puzzles. It reminds me a lot of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes but wirh both players having the opportunity to participate, which is way more fun. The game also has a creepy mystery vibe that makes you want to figure out what is happening here.

Overall we loved it, hoping for more in this style.

First review I've ever bothered to leave

I was extremely hyped for this game. Pre-ordered it and everything. I really wanted to like it, I could tolerate the gacha system and the microtransactions were reasonable.

But little did I expect the game to have a battle pass on top of all the other monetisation. A battle pass that actually SCALES the more your progress it, making higher tiers harder to get, with the final reward being the Farmer they used repeatedly to advertise the game. The Farmer being the only gameplay element in a battle pass with 49 tiers of cosmetics.

Add that to the entry free of 30CAD and I cannot support the predatory systems baked into this game.

Got my refund and got out. I'll come back if they ever change their ways.

Edit: a friend of mine bought a handful of us the game unexpectedly. I'm leaving this review up despite this in the hope that Namco Bandai are encouraged to change their monetization practices.
