Early Access Review
Minilaw is a fantastic 2D RPG set in a Judge Dreddesque setting currently in Early Access.

Pros:
-Fleshed out, tight combat controls and abilities that give you a lot of options to complete your mission
-Law enforcement based RPG system that rewards putting yourself at risk to capture the perp in the least damaging way
-Multiple ways of accomplishing missions in terms of equipment and approach
-RPG system also allows for some wildly different playthroughs
-Enemy variation and AI means you can stratagize a fair bit to get the arrest on each one, or just murder them all if they are too tough (which does happen when new enemies appear)
-Graphics are great and ooze cyberpunk asthetic
-A great homage in general if you like the original 2000 AD Judge Dredd comics
-Like the above in that it does have some decent dark humor and funny dialogue from the player character and the cutscenes
-Consistant updates, has come a long way from reading old reviews and logs. Kinda impressive for an early access game imo.
-Difficulty modes provide different experiences, but is challenging no matter what the mode.
-No major bugs in the actual gameplay, mostly in the story bits (phone calls)

Cons:
-Pressing Q repeatedly to get through the tutorial is literally the worst part about this game.
-Very unclear what to do in the beginning, especially what stratagies to employ in terms of solving the story mode thats under a timer (not a huge deal in easy though).
-Story mode is somewhat buggy, broken, or unfinished in areas, as the game is in early access.
-Somewhat has level repetativeness, and some levels also seem underused (some seemed to be one and done?)
-Writing can also be kind of wacky at times, in a bad way

It just isn't fun or intuative compared to other BR games. They literally have to pay streamers to want to play.
