THIS IS AMAZING!!!! I've played enough to know this feels like an almost entirely new game in some ways. People are citing performance issues etc as part of their downvotes, but i'm playing on a msi 970 **shes chugging but going strong** and i have rarely seen anything that renders this unplayable and at no times did I die because of stuttering.

Sure, it isn't as pretty as the big boy cards but even if it dips below that coveted 60, it still looks and runs fine for me.

Anyway

Miyazaki's a good guy. A damned liar, but a good guy because in no way shape or form is this the "size of Limgrave". Like....6 Limgraves stacked maybe, sure. :)

Game on Tarnished

Fun art. Fun combat. Jumping puzzles aren't a bother as long as you have a working keyboard & have patience. The music suits.

It really reminds me of a Void Bastards in a medieval setting. My only complaint is that I want more of it (even if I haven't beaten this one...yet)

Honestly, I refunded because I couldn't stand the sounds that were used for voices. I couldn't force myself out of the castle in the beginning...

I'm sure its fantastic though and I didn't want to leave a negative review because of that. I just... couldn't do it lol

Solid 'Survivors' style game

DIablo-Souls and I love it.

Devs who care. Fantastic sound and art. Satisfying and evolving gameplay loop. Grab it now before the inevitable full release price hike! It's a steal with the current content alone plus the future roadmap

Still less toxic than DBD.

Flawed but fun. A little reminder of one of the few NEW games to be playable at the floor of TwitchCon 2019.

This is a really great game so far. I have yet to beat it, but I've thoroughly enjoyed my time thus far. It's quite clearly a souls-like but it has enough of it's own identity that it sets itself apart from being a total clone. Some enemies it's easiest to just attack spam and dodge while others it does vastly improve your chances to take your time and wait for windows of opportunity to strike.

Each "quest" has several sub-quest areas with lots to find. The story is actually pretty good. I fully admittedly didn't care for any of the narrative at first. I found it boring. But as I kept reading the various diary pages found and other bits of lore, I was quickly drawn in.

The bosses are pretty neat in design and offer some fun (and infinitely frustrating) moments. Again, a lot of my frustrations came from being far too impatient and greedy.

To be clear, it was a gift but I was literally about to purchase it when i was given a copy. All in all, I feel this is well worth your time and the $25.

Played for 3 hours solid, no crashes, a few stutters and maintained a pretty decent framerate. Oh yeah, I'm only running a 970 gfx card. Not sure why everyone is whining about the game at this point. Ran fine on my inferior machine. Sure, it definitely needs an optimization patch, however, is it bad enough to "not buy this game until it supports my ultra wide 4k uhd bla bla bla"... no. Not at all. If you love Souls game, buy this. Like.... yesterday.

Only reason I didn't put in more hours is due to the fact that I have to wake up at 530a for work lol.

Update: I still haven't had any issues myself, but see how widespread and varied it is for people. I still can't say to avoid this game, though. A patch will likely be coming pretty soon, or maybe they'll revert the day one patch that some early adopters say could be partially to blame.
