Definitive way to play Factorio, it's an improvement over the vanilla version. But the space platform "factory" parts are a bit weak compared to the regular planet factory building.

Great cheap roguelite, the content, mainly, is checking the different combinations and learning how the game works. It's also one of the few that uses a round-based battle system, which means it saves between rounds so it's easy to play short sessions.
Well optimized, no cpu usage while paused and runs on low specs. It's also easy to see what's going on most of the time (an issue I have with Boneraiser Minions, even with the accessibility options enabled).

Simple but polished game, easy to pick up even after a long time, the game difficulty is well balanced IMO, plus it has several difficulty settings, it doesn't have many mechanics at least from the the player side, there are several character classes, ideal if a game without long intro/long learning curve is required. However it might be too simple for certain players (the simple aspect it a double edge sword). Has coop.

Game is fun, worth it for 4~€, way less infuriating than slay the spire. If you enjoy the "loop" and trying different combinations, there is a lot to try.
A guide is recommended to check the upgrade paths of the champions, the game doesn't tell the player up until it gives the option (mid-game and then end-game, plus sometimes, because RNG, it only shows two when there are three), so the player doesn't know until then.
Also UNITY engine, turn on the framecap and lower the resolution, because it's always maxing a core even while paused.

My issue with this instalment of the series is that it doesn't do much, and what it does... it's probably bad?, let me explain, spoilers ahead:

It's the backstory of Neil Watts, at the end of it close to nothing new (that's not his backstory) is explained, except what Neil has been doing at home, but I think everyone who played the previous games assumed he was doing something like what's shown in this game
Another problem is that the game is diluting what the other games did since the game pulls an "inception", as in "a memory machine is used inside someone who's already in a memory machine", there is a reason to it, but the reason isn't good, because this time it's not even helping anyone, it's all virtual, and it plays the same as the other games but given the context it has less weight and like I said I think dilutes/diminishes the other games. It doesn't help that explanation for this "inception" situation, is that Neil is literally doing an stress test of the memory machine

I feel, and I don't know if it was the game intention, like the game pulled a "MGS2", as in the game is doing a meta commentary and a few times it parodies itself, which I don't think is a good thing given the subjects the series usually delves into. Maybe Kan R Gao is attempting to shift from drama to sci-fi...? I'll finish saying that this one didn't leave a strong impression like "To the moon" or "Finding paradise"

I would recommend it? I guess
It starts slow, meaning barely no choices at the start, just the RNG until the player grinds some gold, which can be used to expand the choices later on, then it becomes more fun because the game gives you some control over the RNG, which leads me to
It's pretty RNG based, I beat the game at 11 hours, but during that run it was my first time beating the third, fourth, and fifth bosses, and after that run I couldn't beat the game again until 3-4 more runs, all because of the RNG
The Linux port is somewhat bad, issues I had:
Game refusing to start or taking a long time to do it (this was pretty common)
The game maxes the GPU while paused
One crash during those 22 hours

Great spiritual successor of the 2D GTAs (GTA 1 and 2)
Works on linux (proton) but it has input problems, the input gets stuck i.e., you run to the left for several seconds you can't do anything else for several seconds, if you hit "ESC" the menu will also take several seconds while the game is still going on to show up. Good thing the game is so low in the hardware requirements that it can be executed on a virtual machine easily
My minor? complains, in-game, are: camera might be too close specially when driving most of the time it's hard to react to traffic, there is no body armor, only health, it doesn't have combat vehicles, the shop menus are pretty "bare", buying multiple ammo requires to repeat the buy action and lastly, this effects the endgame, picking a weapon switches to that weapon (even if you already have it), but by the end of the game there are these enemies that are immune to bullets so you want to jump or melee them, the issue here is once you kill them it automatically grabs and switches to their weapon and you need to manually switch back to melee to kill the next one
I still recommend the game regardless

Great replay loop, reminds me a lot of when I was raiding in wow around 2007/8, it's just one player and with different dps specs every "run", some times more glass cannon, some times more tanky... also it's similar in that you wipe a lot at the beginning, you have to learn the encounters, how to "dance", some of the currency system/s feel somewhat similar to the reputation system used in wow...
It also forces the player to try new configurations with the prophecy objectives, which helps with the replay value
The game runs really well

Really good gameplay, juggling the balance of energy/pollution generation, resource gathering, research and base defense is a really good formula
On the technical side it runs great, one of the best optimized games I've ever played specially with the amount of things happening at the same time, it barely uses any CPU, this alone deserves praise

"The irony when the original has less bugs than the remaster"

The only thing going for the remaster compared to the original is that it ran, performance wise, better than the original, but that's it, and I say "ran" because since the first patch, released a few days ago, many users, myself included, are reporting stuttering every minute or so, I didn't have any performance issues before the patch. If the original had some zones with performance issues the remaster has this performance issue everywhere and always.

The framerate is still tied to the game engine so anything below slows down all the game, i.e. 30 fps halves the game speed.
Mob behavior has been changed, increased aggro range and follow farther than the original.
The multiplayer even with the new features has more bugs than the original. In coop the mobs/bosses go crazy: movement resets, walking in reverse, teleports, animation cancels...
Gaping dragon going in reverse, check 24:00 https://youtu.be/EW2b4U06zqs?list=PLsCxWYsTtpLWLDG46QsdsR23xpYYsYE2j&t=1439

Invasions have a chance, if you encounter a player that can modify your character stats, to FUBAR your save file.
I recommend searching remastered bugs videos on youtube to see the scope of the problem.
I would only recommend the game offline and on the unpatched/release version, otherwise stick to the original or play Dark Souls 3 (they have issues too but less than the remaster)
