This is a great Rogue game. You get one life per map (if playing co-op local or online, revive on next level) and there is an RPG element with the different skills, characters, and items/buffs.

The co-op is a lot of fun on local. If you have a wireless xbox 360 controller receiver and matching gamepads, then you just have to turn them on before you start the game up. I'd say gamepad is better than mouse in this case.
