Much like Hyper Light Drifter (HLD) which is a top down action puzzle platformer, Solar Ash gets it's kicks from exploration, puzzles and some basic combat. The view is switched up to third person this time and most of the game is about quick traversal. Much like HLD, Solar Ash has a unique story and characters that are interesting and exciting. The game can be completed with relative ease which is a change from HLD which challenges reach the extreme. The game does have a higher difficulty but is still relatively laid back by comparison. The art style fits the universe that Heart Machine has created and is colourful and vibrant but also grim in places and stands out on it's own. I got relatively 9 and a half hours out of the game without playing through Hardcore and beating the the timed achievement. I whole heartedly recommend Solar Ash, the price point is a bit higher for the time to $ ratio so I would recommend picking it up in a sale instead.

Fun relaxing finder game. And the proceeds go towards cat shelters. Super wholesome. Pretty chill music too.

Early Access Review
Fun game, best played with 3+ people. 2+ is possible but the game is definitely more balanced towards more people. If horror elements aren't your jam I'd probably steer clear. Easy to get jump scared. Enjoyable game loop. Enjoyed whether playing seriously or casually. Much fun and antics ensue!

Very fun, a mix of Metroidvania style level design with RPG elements. Plenty of things to do within each area some of which you can't do making a return trip a necessity. Dodging works a little bit differently to other games in terms of what you can and can't dodge through but is easy to understand and get used to. Definitely recommend.

One of the best games I have ever played. Constantly updated, good with or without friends. Plenty of different things to do. Developers are super humble and update the game often and really care about the players. Great community too, have hardly found anyone toxic at all. Can style your Warframe to your playstyle. Also has some really great story, takes some time to get into, and even unlock, but once your do it's amazing.

Great Game, if you like Terraria or Minecraft or Stardew Valley or anything to do with base building then I reckon you'll like this game. Has a lot of things you can do as well, have played 67.5 hours and there is still things I haven't done. Like I said, great game. :), only thing I don't like about it so much, is that the difficulty kind of plateaus after a certain 'level' aka gear for an open world non level game :P.

The remake (from the ground up) of Abe's Oddysee. Absolutely flawless. They took what was already a great game and made it even more 'Odd'. The keyboard controls are amazing! :) and if you're a PC elitist will be what you 'should' be using. 4 Paramite pies out of 2 Scrab cakes. A must play.
