Having played many hours of Stalker Anomaly and Gamma on the higher difficulties I find them less frustrating and more enjoyable that veteran in Stalker 2, I don't enjoy every other Mutant being a Blood Sucker that proceeds to hit me twice in a second and instantly kill me.

The Game has Good Animations and some of the Weapons feel good to use like the SVD, Viper-5, M870, but the Game falls flat on every other aspect including Graphical Fidelity which they put front and center and suffers from severe Performance Issues as a result while still only looking mediocre at the best of times.

The Game does not respect your time or Effort as the rewards for missions are awful and require far too much ammunition and supplies to deal with, 600 Coupons to kill 10 bandits that are able to beam me further than I can see with a PSO Optic with Viper-5's is Insane when a shotgun shell costs 65 Coupons.

As of this moment I will be uninstalling Stalker 2 and going back to Gamma or Anomaly (haven't decided yet) as I want to enjoy Stalker without having a slideshow because the Devs thought Global Illumination is more important than a decent experience.

Some of the dialog choices felt forced like there was no point me even engaging in it meanwhile I had Lenz complain to me about siding with a Monolithian even though I blasted them with Buckshot without even talking to him, On that note the Voice acting feels off not a huge fan could be that I am just used to hearing Russian and I do believe you can change it so they do speak it instead.

The control scheme was not designed by people with Human Hands, Lean on Z and C, Huh? who thought that made sense and the equipment keys are not always immediately obvious, The Game would not remove the hint showing me how to Aim with a Weapon even though I had killed 3 People prior doing exactly that, yet It never told me the key for Grenade, Bolts, Pistol, either Rifle, Detector.

2/10 - I can't recommend this to anyone in it's current state

TLDR
Game Runs like Arse, Looks mediocre for the Performance it costs, Game is Grindy and frustrating

While this was garbage fire on release it's very very slowly becoming a decent game in it's own right.

Still not a replacement for ArmA 3, especially the Poor Gamemaster they stripped Bare, or the Editor which is non existent. But the Conflict gamemode is actually fairly fun to play, I have been playing on a Public Server a lot recently with Mods and it's a Blast, I would enjoy some more Communication with the other Players but I can't force them it's a pub server either way it's still fun.

Hell one of the Admins for a short bit made a Little Fight Ring and we took turns boxing each other with a fella playing music for our entrances, It's not something I expected when playing ArmA Reforger but Holy was that Funny and Fun.

Early Access Review
The Company my Beloved <3

Very Fun and quite Difficult to keep up with the Quota's as you start dealing with more and more creatures of increasingly deadly nature.

Beware, while you might think you are alone, you most likely aren't I would recommend closing doors behind you lest he grabs you when you least expect it.

Having played a Total of 90 hours, a Fair chunk being on Release, I can't say I am happy with the development of this game.

There are multiple questions I had on Release of the game,
Why was it $70AUD (Australian) on Launch? About $50USD
Why was VR Support added last minute?
Is this all there is to the game?

Since It was brought to my attention that I didn't state what I enjoyed about the game I will leave that here as an edit 30/9/22

What did I enjoy?
I say it in the next section in my Rant but the Concept of Carrier Command 2 is fantastic, I really do Adore the Concept and I wish they did more with it, as for the rest of the game, the Logistics pre Rework was really fun and in depth and actually required someone to actually dedicate themselves to the Logistics Terminal.

The other fun part of the game is taking the Islands, it arguably is the main Focus of the game and it is rather fun to do, bonus points if you play with Friends as having friends play with you can increase the Fun Tenfold.

Concept 10/10
Art Style 6/10
Gameplay 4/10
With Friends 8/10
Replayability 2/10

Slight Rant
I really really like the concept and It could be expanded upon so much more, but so far I just feel disappointed with the absolute lack of Gameplay, After having come back to play this game the past couple days only stopping now because the game crashed and Carrier Command 2 Does Not have Auto saving leading to me losing about 4 hours of play, which yes I should save more often, however This is 2022 and your Telling me it doesn't have a basic auto save.

Logistics "Rework" (Downgrade)
Why was the Logistics System "reworked"? So far it just seems like a straight downgrade, in the current iteration of Logistics for me to have a barge looping automatically for delivery it travels back and forth regardless of any orders.
Why do I have to constantly Baby Sit my Barges to make them stay at an island so they don't end up travelling the maps length multiple times without them needing to.

Lack of Content Updates
Why is there so little content even now as of 22 June, the only new features I can think of are having Needlefish and fixed Aircraft controls, oh and modding support that means nothing since you can barely change anything anyway.
To be fair there was plenty of bug fixing and such along the way.
Which I would say is fair dinkum, however this is not an Early Access Title it's a full Bonafide "Finished" game and it's Price On Release surely reflected as such.

The Units
The Game itself is just a simple, Capture Islands, Build Stuff, Kill Opponent game loop the problem is, That's It, which yeah some games do have simple Loops which are fun but the Content involved in that Loop is sorely lacking, You have a Total of 8 Units,

Ground Vehicles
For Ground Vehicles which are made at a Surface Chassis Island:
Seal, Walrus and Bear
Effectively, Car, Bigger Car and Tank

The Seal and Walrus are almost identical and I find no reason to use the Seal.
The Bear however is a Tank and can equip different weapons, has more health and does good damage, It's a decent vehicle.
The Walrus is only needed because the Bear can't use most Turrets including the Virus bots.

Aircraft
For Aircraft made at the Air Chassis Island
Rotary: Razorbill and Petrel
Fixedwing: Albatross and Manta

Now the problem with these Units is there is no reason to use the Former of each once you have the Latter.
The Petrel not only being able to carry 2 more pylons can also use a Gimbal Camera, which is very useful of course, But the Main Function of the Petrel is Air lifting Ground vehicles, Which speeds up the Whole Process immensely.

The Manta is similar in terms of Hardpoints to the Albatross it can also equip the AWACS Radar which is Fantastic and a must have for Scouting allowing you to see Air and Naval Contacts up to 10km away, I see no reason to use the Albatross when the Manta is Faster has more utility and can fill the role of the Albatross Better.

Naval Craft
And Lastly a Boat being the Needlefish, made at the Warehouse Island for some reason?
You can't modify their Loadouts, You must Purchase each Variant Separately, these being:
Cruise Missile, CIWS, 160mm (Artillery) and Torpedo.

Not only that they do not have alternate weapons like the AI Versions of Said boats, the Artillery Needlefish only has the 160mm with no secondary weapon be it a CIWS or AA or Otherwise.
There is also no Method to change their Loadouts.

Notes on Units as Whole
and of those 8 units total 3 of them get superseded by the Same thing but better that of which I explained earlier but I simply put here.
Seal -> Walrus
Albatross -> Manta
Razorbill -> Petrel

Now that leaves you with 5 Units total that are Viable, well 4, the Needlefish are a gimmick honestly, Yes the Artillery Version and Cruise Missile may prove useful but the other two are a bust.

Now the more veteran players might chime in and say, "bUt tHey eAcH HaVe tHeIr rOlE"
Which yeah they probably do but of all my Time playing, I honestly never found a reason to use them, the Prices between them is not so drastic that there is little meaning in using them over the more expensive ones.
End Units

Island Debacle
Everything is produced at islands using Money which is earned every minute based on the amount of islands you control and you earn it from killing enemy units, Bounties if you will.
That is it, Islands do nothing more than that, You can't build on them you can't use their Airstrips for Your Aircraft, You can't even transfer Items to the Islands, at least before the Logistics rework you could offload to the islands using Barges, but not now, now you dump it because that totally makes sense when you have literal warehouse islands.

The Gameplay Loop
The Gameplay loop after you get over the excitement of messing with the Logistics a little bit is using the Albatross to call in the Carrier Guns, which is cool and you should enjoy it, because that is all there is to the game, Every Island you attack will start with you shooting things with the Carrier Guns, Running a Seal with Virus bots on it to cap the island and then you move on, That Gameplay loop takes on average about 30 minutes to an hour with about half of it just waiting on your Units to Travel.

My Conclusion
As it currently Stands, I have no idea what the Devs are doing with Carrier Command 2, nor do I have any idea how they thought such a underdeveloped and basic game was worth the Triple A price tag on Release, now being much much lower, but still not low enough that I would recommend it to anyone.

Godbless my friend who Gifted me the game on release.

Closing Notes
You are wrong about X Thing
Honestly yeah there is likely many things incorrect in what I have said and I definitely have overlooked many things and skipped others for brevity even though this Review is already far too massive.
And you know what, that's fine, If you think something is wrong or incorrect feel free to comment and let others know what is wrong, I am not omnipotent and I wrote a lot while being dead tired so you likely can find plenty of things to critique.

why did I mention the On release price tag instead of the current one
The main reason being the expectations such a price tag sets. Given the game we got, It was an absolute Joke, I don't mean to downplay the work the Developers put into the game, however the reality is, the Price was far far far far too high for how little the game offered, given you only have to capture one island to experience the whole thing since it's the same loop, with almost no variation because there is little to no Choice in what you can use.

Will I change this review in the future, probably not, I highly doubt Carrier Command 2 will improve from what it is currently.

My Secret words are Angel, Reveal and Solace...

"There's a big piece to life's grand puzzle that you are missing on a daily basis..."

There are bridges in my life that have been destroyed either by my hands or otherwise,
this has affected me more than I realise.

I should reach out to someone who I haven't spoken to in a long time and talk with them, it's not a matter of what the conversation is about or if its boring or pleasant but that I spend time talking to them and how I feel during it and then I will learn something very valuable from them.

As of writing I don't know who it want's me to reach out to nor what I am missing, hopefully I will figure it out.

This is a splendid experience I highly recommend.

When I decided to try the Test Trilogy, I expected some standard blanket sort of wisdom like "Appreciate your Friends" or something along those lines.
It gave me what I feel a really uncomfortable result, not because it is wrong, but because I very much felt it was correct.
As of writing I have completed the First and Second Title.

My secret word is Reveal

It told I am one of the most pleasant souls, but I am afraid to open up to people in fear of being judged.
Being able Open up and share even what I think are the most unpleasant parts of me with others will help me understand and learn that many are likely just like me and are too afraid.
Learning just this small trait will provide me with amazing opportunities and happiness.

The Only issue I have with this game is how bland it feels.

The Galactic Community Feels Entirely Pointless and is far too easy to manipulate given how much some of the options give you diplomatic weight for various things which I end up dominating rather easily.

The Ship Designer doesn't feel like it actually Matters, What use is it if I actually think about my Fleet composition It seems just building more big ships equals better which is rather disappointing.

The Game is impossible to play without Mods. which while there are other games like that. I have gotten more time and enjoyment out of them.

Slideshow city, This isn't the games fault per say so This isn't the most concrete reasoning, The Performance of this game gets Very Very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Slow after like 1 or 2 sessions worth of playing causing the game to be a literal waiting game that I spend more time Alt Tabbed doing something else.

I ♥♥♥♥ you not recently I was able to keep up with 2 other Friends in the game while I was alt Tabbed Playing C&C Generals beating the Challenge mode while I waited for my pitiful Empire to just afk Research because my Habitability was 55% on my Home World that was also a Tomb world, While, get this 2 of the 4 Fallen Empires Spawned near me, One even about 2 systems from bordering me.

I guess Playing an interesting Empire Also means Gimping yourself into an Unfun game that I literally enjoyed playing another game instead of it.

In before "Just don't play it then idiot hue hue hue".
Also Seriously $57 AUD for this? Im really glad I bought it for like 15 Dollars Years ago.
