You'd expect this game with simplistic graphics to work decently on any machine. Well I get it's in early access, but I cannot play a game with 20 fps.

First timer here. Initially, I tought this game was intimidating but very appealing.

At first all the new mechanics can be a little overwhelming, but it took a couple of hours until it clicked for me.
I like the ranking system, although it's not excented of a few flaws. I like how you are moving floor to floor as your skills increase, and you usually encounter people similar in strength. But you'll have to be patient as the lobbies, the servers,and the matchmaking are awful, AWFUL.

When everything works it's a wonder, but sometimes you get disconnected for no reason (you can't find a match until you restart the game) and often you're playing with someone just to be interrupted because one of you got promoted or demoted without givingthe opportunity for a rematch.

But besides this inconveniences, the game is superb. The characters are unique, balanced, and the matches are fantastic.

I can't really recommend this game. It has a decent battle system and is quite fun actually BUT...

The visuals and the art style are completely bland, where's the charm that MvC3 had?
The kinaesthetic is very lacking, the feeling of the hits is weak, the bland sound effects don't help. You only know that a move hurts because you see the life bar descending...

Very disappointed in general.

Amazing game. The gameplay and the sound are the best.
Never played a roguelike that managed to keep me this engaged, from start to end.

Amazing game. While combat it's on the weak side, all the other elementes are so well constructed that, to this day, Arx Fatalis manages to put to shame other "big ones" like Skyrim.

Note: The community mod is a must, search for the Arx Libertatis 1.2 dev build and copy its contents in the root folder of the game.

Simply put it's the best Free to Play game you'll ever see on PC.

Pensé que cambiarían la fórmula, pero al entrar lo que me he encontrado es el cod de siempre con una skin nueva. Lamentable.
