A worthy successor to the vanilla game, countless hours of fun. 8/10

This game is the sole reason why I have so many unplayed games in my Steam library.

More of the same. Somewhat entertaining, but old ones were better.

I bought this game on sale for €0.60. Figured it would be worth that much because I like simple tower defense games.
The reviews, apparently, were very positive, but when I searched for them manually later, most of them were negative.

But this piece of crap doesn't even work half of the time. The game runs, don't get me wrong, but the towers don't shoot properly while in range of the enemies. And when they do, they do so unreliably. The faster you set your game speed, the more accurate they become, but getting the core basics of a game wrong (i.e. shooting stuff) is a no-no for me. Your little nephew (age 8) could probably make a better game.

TL:DR got fooled by Steam review manipulation; this is a sh!t game.

Out of all the fly simulators I've played, I gotta say, this is the best one hands down.
This game will take you on an emotional rollercoaster through space and time, and lets you experience the journey of a lifetime. It makes you wonder and ask questions such as: what if?

Really worth the price.

Early Access Review
I liked the style and graphics of DD I better; this one's a little cartoony, but feels less polished.
The items are much more balanced in this game, but not necessarily for the better. It feels kind of bland sometimes. You can't really go over the top anymore, like you could in DD I.

Plus side of this game is that all the player files are hosted server-side, which means that you won't be able to cheat weapons, pets and stats anymore, which makes it more fun to play with other players online.

There's little innovation though; a couple of new boss mechanics, some interactable environmental stuff, but overall, like said before, it feels somewhat mediocre.

Don't get me wrong, it's still good fun to play; especially with a friend or two, but to me, it felt grindy after two characters and I definitely won't be playing this as long as I have played the first DD.

Despite its ridiculous name, it's a really great game.
+ Feels quite nostalgic, as it is a 2d bullethell. Kind of 'Space impact' on your old Nokia (3310) phone, but the screen wraps around, which means that if you don't keep killing enemies quickly, more and more will spawn.

Basically you have to kill everything (all the underwater robot-fish things) on-screen, while defending your allies from being captured by flying (or diving) saucers. Yeah, getting vague again;
+ just play it, it's great!

- Might get a bit repetitive after a while however, even though new enemy types keep getting
- Bit of an indie-game in terms of content and scope. Not worth full price (€7) in my opinion. I'd put it on €5.

Fun game, reliving the good ol' days of MSN. Interesting storyline/ending if you start pondering: "what if?" at the end, and come to the conclusion that whatever you do, life chooses its own way. 6.5/10

This game is a lineair third person shooter. The gameplay and graphics are decent, but not spectacular.
You want to play this game for its story, however. For me, it was quite a confusing story, even though I didn't skip any cutscenes (and you shouldn't). But it's quite intruiging. If you like stories like Bioshock (Infinite), or Call of Duty: Black Ops, then this is probably a game for you.

It's set in a sort of post-apocalyptic Dubai: Sandstorms have turned the city to dust and the population struggles to survive, under military hardship.

Pros:
- Pretty good fun
- You can give squadmates commands
- Good story
- Original setting (environment and leveldesign)
- Some interaction with environment
- Ammo is scarce

Cons:
- Not an 'excellent' game in any field
- Gameplay is pretty repetitive
- If you play on a higher difficulty you'll get grenade after grenade thrown at you, which makes it REALLY hard to dodge in some situations (but not really fair imo).

Overall, pretty good game, good story, but I wouldn't give it any GOTY awards.

TLDR:
Play it just for shooting people? 6/10, wouldn't recommend.
Play it for the overall experience, a good story, and possible moral dillemma's? 8/10 would recommend.

Overall:
7/10
