To complete my Steam Awards Nomination 2023 badge, I'm required to review a game I nominated. Having played few games this year (most of which were developed in previous years), I can choose from a mere two games. I could purchase a new game before the deadline, but that goes against my nindo.

I was depressed. My best friend passed away the previous year. I sucked at social media and couldn't definitively prove I'm a real person who's different from the wankers that hurt some of my friends to the point they went inactive. Since she was on Tarlach, I created my main there. She was goated and loaded, so I was hooked up with Dark Knights Boots (M) and other rare gear. I progressed so quickly that players doubted I was new. It wasn't as easy as it is nowadays to level up and rank skills. My 9 years of playing trashy MMO's and being the cream of the crop was paying off like Sunraku's experience in kusoge for Shangri La. Thanks to this, I had a feel for how to encounter the pros and have them show me the ropes.

Two of those players became some of the few greatest friends I have currently. Y'all cringing now huh? I didn't even know about race specific skills when I started. That was part of my fascination with the world of Erinn. I got deep into the lore. I felt sad about what became of Ruairi. I felt ecstatic when I collected the Black Dragon Knight transformation and could further act out my fantasies as a Sith Lord.
First, I use Rank F Dorcha Conversion to reduce my HP to 25%. Anchor Rush is used whenever my Dorcha reaches the 15/15 mark.
Then I use Time Shift Lv10 to reset the cooldown.
Dorcha Conversion again, -50%.
If everything goes according to keikaku, Bachram Boost occurs... Mob Psycho 100!
Crisis Escape to remove aggro from me while my party members do all the work.
Another Dorcha Conversion! 25%. This is Zane Truesdale's revamped playing style after losing to Aster Phoenix. I can use the skill 4 more times. Anotha one, -50%. Defiance Lv4 triggers, 15%. Tsk.

My party members leave the instance because they're struggling. I recruited them under the premise I would carry them.

My two last Dorcha Conversions leave me at deadly status. Darkness from Konosuba has nothing on me when it comes to masochism.
Girgashiy swings its staff and hits me because I'm too distracted typing this review. I die.

Forward to 2024, I'm interested in picking up the game again with the Mabinogi Beyond update. I see some VTubers are streaming it. Whether you're a fresh or returning Milletian, we can run Shadow Missions together as friends or enemies.
