For the first time in 33 years some small team called New Star Games has perfected the right combination between Arcade and Simulation.
Granted the game is more Arcade than Simulation, but apart from going fast and avoid crashing you have to strategise and think. Like how much fuel you put into the tank as you stop to pit (my first race has me pit twice because i didn't fill enough to prevent being overtaken, and i finish with half of the last bar left. It's thrilling), when to change tires, and how you need to manage relations with the others (basically don't piss other teams, give them pay bonuses if you can't elect to choose them, and...
9.5/10. Would want an anime update because i can't really stand beady eyes. Then it'll be 10/10. Probably i'm just kidding.

thought it has changed but all it is changing is just addition of precise keyboard and mouse controls.

if you have performance issues turn off vsync, use the graphic drivers provided one.

It's very good game unusual unlike any other.

Got this for free and it feels like a hangover. No option to change screen shakes. Plot and things doesn't make sense unless you played and felt playing the first Dead Island, which is good.
At least this one is free.

Better than CS2

I expect combat realism not stiff controls, almost-psychic enemy AI, unresponsive friendly AI, terrible UI and control layout, freezes, and crashes!

It is telling for a "realistic" game that i worry more about application crash than getting shot.

Also: restart required after moving around the UI, which is a standard feature in most mobile games that can be done without requiring restart) and the UI often needs to be manually scaled

It got to the point that player-made scenarios are more stable than Bohemia's vanilla scenarios (DLCs are still worth buying if you really want this, as it has assets that scenarios and multiplayers often use)
Note: Playing the East Wind might have your game freezing on the map, it can be fixed by turning the game to x86.
Still, here's hoping for Reforger to fix all the issues though.
Will revise ratings if updates make this game stable.

Suffers the slow burn death of unbalanced and cheating AI (it feels like they whittle down your units health faster). No wonder after a failed overhaul the genre died.

This is coming from a guy who loved the genre (especially Company of Heroes and Dawn of War), and wanting to play it again after the Tempest Rising announcement. Guess i have to wait for Tempest Rising then.

During sale, the Prime or Starter is cheap and worth buying.
Don't expect a huge thriving playerbase because it's a ghost town, but the only thing i regret is that i didn't join sooner. The game was much more fun than i expect to be, especially how the game plays "to hell" with the standard MOBA lane rules.
Game is fully playable with bots, and either the Prime and Starter packs worth 10 times its cost during sales, in which basically you buy all the game.
