Some of the best writing in a video game I’ve ever played. A story about the nature of life, death, stories, community, injustice, guilt, grief, friendship, and religion all rolled into one remarkably unforgettable game. A game you’ll want to immediately replay to see what you missed but won’t because you’ll just want to sit with your version of the story for a while. You’ll miss plenty of stuff, but that’s the true charm of this game. You’re just out to make a great story that’s your own rendition, mistakes and all.

Truxton is a great shoot em up. Great music, tough as nails. This is a great port, lots of good control options and visual options.

BUT it should be noted that the game defaults to difficulty dipswitch C as "normal" when that's incorrect. If you want to play the normal setting (difficulty settings are A,B,C,D), you'll want to change it to B and not C. I'm pretty sure all Toaplan shooters in this 4 game collection should be changed to dipswitch B instead of C in the settings.

I've been playing this game since it launched, and every update Crea-ture Studios puts out keeps me coming back to play more! They're fantastic and have shown so much potential.

The game certainly has its jank, but over the past two years they have been polishing and adding new content at a steady pace. It's come a long way, and consistently feels better and better to play.

Game has such great style and heart, and the video editor is dope as ♥♥♥♥. It used to suck ♥♥♥♥.

Highly recommend this game to anyone wanting to get into the next evolution of skate sims post-Skate.

Umurangi Generation is like a prescient warning for a reality we're merely two steps away from. Great game, I'll play it all over again when it comes to the Nintendo Switch.
